POSITION:

We are looking for an experienced product manager with strong technical aptitude who can help us realize our product vision. This role will focus on one of our 5 products and be responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and market expansion efforts. In this role, you will partner with a dedicated engineering and design team to bring the product vision to life.  This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market insight, and execution excellence to drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

At the Predictive Index, Product Managers have ownership over a primary area of functionality as well as the opportunity to “flex” into other domains outside their ownership, collaborating with other PMs and leaders across our business on a regular basis to support business priorities.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Bring persistent focus and energy to the problems and solutions that will be most impactful on short-term and long-term time horizons.
  • Transform ideas and feedback into plans for new and improved foundational functionality and features, working closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product Managers, and Designers along the way.
  • Continuously involve cross-functionally impacted stakeholders in your plans, collecting feedback on upcoming features, providing product previews and potential training references that may be needed as part of your roadmap plans.
  • Clearly document features and functionality in a way that can be easily consumed and built by a platform development team. Work closely with your team to prioritize, refine, plan, and execute.
  • Dive into the data. Understand product usage analytics and use this knowledge to further develop/refine your roadmap.
  • Collaborate with all product teams and identify opportunities to accelerate their goals and explore ideas to encourage adoption, administration, and cross-selling.

Should you apply? If you’ve got all the skills, drop what you’re doing right now! If you’ve got some of these skills, we still want to hear about them!

  • 1-3 years Product Manager, Product Owner or Engineering experience, ideally working on an externally facing revenue generating SaaS product.
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Top-notch communication skills with the ability to present to customers and partners.
  • Experience building/supporting B2B product(s) desirable.
  • Familiarity with collecting and leveraging data analytics to drive roadmap decisions.
  • Supporting a collective understanding of priorities and making smart decisions/tradeoffs.
  • At some point, you’ve completely owned a project from start to finish and knocked it out of the park!
  • Experience working with products sold through and serviced by a partner network is an added benefit.

You will excel in this role if you:

  • Have a clear aptitude at the strategic implications of tactical implementation decisions and vice versa
  • Show up with a strong sense of ownership and accountability that extend beyond one’s own responsibilities both effectively and respectfully
  • Navigate complexity quickly and masterfully. Learn our systems and our industry quickly.
  • Flexible and adaptable to accommodate key business priorities.
  • Collaborate and influence well. At PI we work as a team. Bring your ideas to the table, and connect with cross-functional colleagues to socialize your recommendations.
  • Are energetic. We have a vibrant group. Jumping in, having great team cohesion, and showing leadership is all key.
  • Are driven. You relish solving difficult problems.
