Product Manager
About LBMX
LBMX is a dynamic and growing SaaS company with an international perspective, proudly based in London, Ontario. As we continue our strong growth trajectory, we’re looking for talented, driven, and collaborative individuals to join us and help shape what’s next.
Recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, LBMX combines strong performance with a people-first culture. We believe in building meaningful careers, supporting work-life balance, and creating an environment where your contributions are valued and your growth is encouraged.
At LBMX, you’ll have the opportunity to grow, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a team building something exceptional.
Position Description:
In this role, you'll be part of ideation and solution design from the start, bringing your own ideas and a point of view grounded in customers and data. Then you'll carry the work through - resolving the details with engineering, running customer feedback and validation sessions, and owning the metrics that tell us whether what we shipped is working. Principals set the strategic direction for their areas; you help decide how we get there, and make sure nothing between idea and outcome stalls.
AI fluency is core to this role. We are moving to an AI-native SDLC, where specs, prototypes, and code move far faster than before. You'll use AI tools daily to write and refine specs, synthesize customer feedback, collaborate on prototypes, analyze usage data, and generate the release content our teams need, so your time goes to judgment, customers, and decisions. This role is designed as a growth path - working closely with experienced Principals is the fastest way to learn how great product decisions get made, and to take on more of them yourself.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

What You Will Do:
Shaping the Product
- Contribute ideas and identify opportunities from customer conversations, usage data, support trends, and what new AI capabilities make possible, and bring them forward with evidence.
- Work alongside the Principal Product Managers and the Product Design Lead on discovery, problem framing, and solution design: pressure-testing ideas, prototyping options with AI, and turning direction into a clear plan.
- Take on problems that aren’t fully defined and own the workstream from start to finish, through to a measured outcome.
- Bring a point of view: challenge assumptions with evidence from customers, data, and engineering.
Building with Engineering in an AI-native SDLC
- Be the day-to-day product partner for engineering: join standups and refinement, answer questions quickly, and make scope and trade-off calls within agreed guardrails.
- Write clear, testable specs and acceptance criteria, using AI to draft, stress-test, and refine them, and to produce working prototypes where that's faster than a document.
- Adapt how product and engineering work together as AI changes the pace of delivery: shorter cycles, faster prototypes, and earlier customer validation.
- Triage incoming bugs and enhancement requests for your area, and close the loop with whoever raised them.
Customers, Research & Validation
- Plan, coordinate, and run customer feedback sessions, usability tests, betas, and validation calls: recruiting the right customers, preparing the materials, and synthesizing what you learn.
- Partner with the Product Design Lead on research and usability testing, so customer evidence shapes the design before it's built.
Metrics, Adoption & Launch
- Define success metrics for every release with the Principal for that area, then own the tracking: instrumentation, dashboards, and regular reporting on adoption and impact.
- Spot where customers drop off or don't adopt, and drive the fixes: product changes, in-product guidance, or targeted outreach.
- Own launch readiness for your area: brief Sales, Support, and Implementation, and make sure the demo environment and standard demo reflect what's shipped.
- Supply the source content for release notes, training, and help documentation (generated largely with AI from specs and tickets) for Customer & Integration Ops to deliver to customers.
What You Will bring:
- 3–6 years in product management or a closely related role (product owner, business analyst, solutions consultant, engineer moving into product) in B2B SaaS.
- Hands-on experience running customer conversations: discovery calls, usability tests, betas, or UAT, and enjoying it.
- Strong working relationship with engineers: comfortable in technical discussions, writing specs they can build from, and making trade-off calls.
- Data fluency: able to define metrics, pull and analyze usage data, and build simple dashboards (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Power BI, or similar).
- Daily, practical use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) across product work (specs, prototyping, research synthesis, and analysis), with the judgment to check and correct their output.
- Curious, organized, and fast: you close loops, keep momentum, and don't need to be chased.
- Experience with EDI, supply chain, distribution, rebates, or buying-group environments considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
