What We Do

Volm Companies Inc., headquartered in Antigo, WI has been providing the produce industry with the latest generation packaging equipment & materials for nearly 70 years. It all started in 1954, as a small family-run operation. The Volm family sold groceries & hardware supplies, serving the needs of local farmers. During this time, Gerald Volm realized that local customers needed a reliable supplier of used & new burlap to get their potatoes to market. Over time, the company began manufacturing its own products to meet changing market needs. The company has since expanded to include multiple manufacturing & distribution locations across the nation. Today, we partner with many retailers, growers, shippers, and packing facilities in the fresh produce industry. Over the years, Volm may have grown to become one of the industry’s leading sources for packaging & equipment solutions, but we continue to follow Gerald Volm’s example by serving customers the high value solutions they need with the personalized customer service they deserve. While offering a complete catalog of standard bags, packaging, mesh fabric products, & more, we retain the ability to tailor our offerings to meet whatever specifications you demand. Looking for a custom color combination for your brand compliant mesh bags? We can do it, just as we have for some of the most recognized consumer brands in the nation. But there’s more to Volm than that. It comes from our long heritage of partnership with our customers. Our singular goal is to be recognized as your complete design, equipment, & consumables supplier – Your Most Valued Partner. The one vendor that offers you the highest value for your dollar.
