Description

We are Tailor Brands

We built a platform that builds businesses. From launching and managing to growing your business, Tailor Brands is the all-in-one solution that empowers you. Our "Guidance Engine" assesses each new business that arrives on the platform and devises a tailored plan for it. From formation and compliance to accounting and payments, millions of people choose Tailor Brands for over 20 business services on a single platform.

Our mission is to help anyone shape their life by building a business and creating a simple path to independence.

There are point solutions for every bump in the road, a tool for each challenge you might face. But we are more than a toolbox, we are your guide. We hand you the compass to chart a smoother course, and turn the journey from complicated to clear, from daunting to doable.

Building a business is tough. While 61% of Americans have a plan to start a business, only a third will actually take the steps to make it happen. We believe the present favors independence, but the future will require it.

About the role

You own the product end to end: the problem, the prototype, the spec, the release, the experiment, and the call to keep it, change it, or kill it. Which parts of the product you're focused on follows the opportunities we decide to invest in, and you'll hold several of them at once. The craft is the same in all of them.

Some of what we build is AI itself: an AI co-founder for business owners, and an AI-led signup flow. Some of it is ordinary product work: checkout, pricing, compliance filings, a dashboard. In both cases, AI is how the job gets done here, not a type of project you get assigned.

You build the prototype yourself. Our PMs build working prototypes in AI coding tools such as Lovable and Claude Code — alone or with a designer, depending on the project. The prototype goes to engineering as the spec, with real components, real states and real copy. Not a wireframe and a document.

You move fast. You have an engineering team building against your decisions, and you are responsible for what they spend their time on. We release several times a day, nothing waits for a quarterly plan, and what you sketch on Monday can be live by Wednesday.

You run your own experiments. Design the test, declare the primary metric before you open it, set exposure, get it instrumented with the data team, read it, and call it. Tests run in Statsig, with results in Heap and Tableau, though often we skip the dashboard and have an AI agent read the test straight out of the warehouse. Closing your own test on control is part of the job.

You get your own answers. The same habit applies to every question, not only to tests. Instead of filing a request and waiting, you go and find out. You are expected to notice when a number is wrong, and to say so before a decision gets made on it.

You own the consequences. When a price renders wrong or a payment method stops appearing on one browser, you are the person who works out how many customers it reached, decides what we do for them, and makes sure it cannot happen the same way twice.

You hold the stakeholders. Requests reach you from other product teams, BizDev, Marketing, Finance, Legal, CX and Data, and they will not agree on what matters most. You hear them out, decide what your team takes on and in what order, and tell the people who did not get what they asked for why not. They also need to know what is changing, what it means for their work, and when it lands, before it lands.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years in product management, on a consumer or self-serve product.
  • You already build with AI coding tools. This is a requirement, not an advantage. If you have never shipped a working prototype yourself, this role will be frustrating.
  • Deeply analytical. Given a metric that moved, you can break it into the parts that could have moved it, work out which one did, and say how confident you are in the answer.
  • Monetization experience preferred: pricing, packaging, checkout, upsell, billing. These are the decisions that move revenue rather than engagement.
  • Experimentation you have run yourself: designed, powered, read, decided. Be ready to talk about a test you killed and why.
  • Strong stakeholder management. You can hold competing requests from several functions at once, decide what your team takes on, sequence the rest honestly, and keep the people you said no to on your side.
  • Enough UI/UX judgment to design a flow rather than describe one, down to layout, states, empty states and copy.
  • A quantitative B.A./B.Sc. from a leading academic institution (advantage for entrepreneurship programs such as Zell, Adelson, We, Coller Ignite, TAU Up).
  • Working English, written and spoken. Most of our customers and some of our team are native English speakers.
  • You have made something exist that did not exist before, such as a startup, a side project or a product line.

Nice to have

  • Domain experience in US small business, fintech or compliance: formation, registered agent, payments, bookkeeping, tax.
  • Experience shipping a partner or channel integration.
  • You have been a small business owner.
  • A link to something you built, such as a prototype, an internal tool or a side project. Send it with your application.

This role is probably not for you if

  • You expect a designer to hand you screens and an analyst to hand you numbers.
  • You want to write requirements and hand them over.
  • You want one area that stays yours, with a fixed scope and a quarterly planning cycle.
  • You want one stakeholder and a tidy backlog.
  • "AI-first" reads to you as a line in a job ad rather than a description of the day.

Nice to know

  • We are located in Rothschild, Tel Aviv.
  • Our hybrid model includes four days in the office and one day at home.

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of product management experience on a consumer or self-serve product
  • Experience building and shipping working prototypes with AI coding tools
  • Strong analytical ability to decompose metric changes and assess confidence in findings
  • Hands-on experimentation experience, including test design, powering, analysis, and decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder management and prioritization skills across multiple functions
  • UI/UX judgment sufficient to design complete flows, including layouts, states, empty states, and copy
  • Quantitative BA or BSc from a leading academic institution
  • Working written and spoken English
  • Experience creating something new, such as a startup, side project, or product line
  • Monetization experience in pricing, packaging, checkout, upsell, or billing
  • Experience in US small business, fintech, or compliance domains
  • Experience shipping a partner or channel integration
  • Experience as a small business owner
  • Link to a prototype, internal tool, or side project
