Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the strategic and tactical aspects of assigned product portfolio to meet the needs of our targeted commercial markets and the strategic goals of Treasury Solutions. A product manager is responsible for managing and executing full product lifecycle processes including ideation, strategy, development, management, marketing, communication, commercialization, profitability, sales support strategies and ongoing monitoring and risk management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drives business and financial results through the selection, design, development and promotion of new and existing products or solutions utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer clients a differentiated product experience. Oversees and maintains existing Commercial payment products; develops and implements new or updated products working in tandem with internal and external partners.
  • Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver products to clients through all applicable channels. Prioritizes and makes decisions regarding product recommendations. Assists in development of business case, business plan and roll-out of specific products or solutions.
  • Monitors the marketplace to assess product, technology, and market trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommends new products or enhancements to existing products and develops and designs innovative features. Manages the development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of assigned products, and recognizes, anticipates and resolves operational and process problems that arise.
  • Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners. Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities to ensure all product offerings or experiences meet strategic goals. Develops product-specific marketing initiatives. Supports risk management, compliance and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
  • Drives business, financial and client experience results of new and existing products and recommends modifications in product features and/or marketing to improve results.
  • Provides product training for sales and product staff, operational partners, and appropriate client support partners. May be liaison across the footprint for product knowledge and implementation of new banking relationships. Participates in promotional conferences, tradeshows, expos and other related forums.
  • Serves as subject-matter-expert resource by providing training, orientation, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Firm authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum Experience: 8+ years experience in Commercial payment, Treasury Management Services and/or commercial banking. Regular office environment;

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • May sit for long periods of time;

  • Talk and hear regularly;
  • Climb, Bend, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl Regularly;
  • Use of hands, ability to reach;

  • Travel required less than 25% of the time;
  • Driver's license not required

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years experience in commercial payments, Treasury Management Services, and/or commercial banking
  • Proven experience managing full product lifecycle including ideation, development, commercialization, pricing, and launch
  • Experience partnering with sales, marketing, digital channels, and operational stakeholders; delivering product training and sales support
  • Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and audit requirements in a first-line-of-defense role
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to perform listed physical tasks (sit/stand for long periods, talk/hear, lift up to 10 pounds, etc.)
