Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Joint Staff CDAO Product Manager to join our team! In this role, you will own the delivery and implementation of data and AI-enabled products and use cases, acting as the main liaison between Joint Staff Directorates and the technical development POD. You will ensure customer requirements are translated into actionable product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, and drive execution to meet Department of Defense mission objectives.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the primary Product Manager for the Joint Staff CDAO development POD, owning the end-to-end implementation and successful delivery of data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities
- Act as the main liaison between Joint Directorate leadership (J-Dir), mission owners, and technical POD resources, ensuring alignment of customer requirements with product vision, strategy, and execution
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize customer requirements and mission needs, translating them into a clear product roadmap and prioritized feature backlog based on business value and mission impact
- Drive iterative delivery: define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures; ensure the development POD is focused on the highest priority work
- Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively communicate progress, and facilitate recurring product reviews, demos, and working sessions
- Escalate relevant blockers, risks, or dependencies that impact POD velocity or delivery, and coordinate with leadership to resolve issues
- Ensure continuous feedback loops between end users, stakeholders, and technical teams to maximize adoption and mission value
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, analysts, cybersecurity, etc.) to deliver high-impact capabilities on schedule and within scope
- Monitor product performance and user satisfaction, refining the roadmap and backlog to drive continuous improvement
- Support CDAO governance, strategic planning, reporting, and executive briefings related to Joint Staff data and AI initiatives
- Stay current on emerging product management and AI/data delivery practices; identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of product management or technical delivery experience, including direct responsibility for driving product implementation and cross-team execution
- Demonstrated experience acting as a primary liaison between customers (business/mission owners) and technical delivery teams
- Proven ability to gather, prioritize, and translate customer requirements into actionable product roadmaps and feature backlogs
- Strong track record of managing iterative product development, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder communication in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Experience facilitating product reviews, managing stakeholder expectations, and escalating blockers to ensure delivery success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
