We’re on the lookout for a Product Manager, Sustainable Product, APAC to join us in Tokyo - a motivated, entrepreneurial professional willing to make a difference! In this new role, you will own the charge in delivering innovative solutions across the region by championing our product roadmap, product lifecycles, and engaging with clients across Japan and the broader APAC region.

Role Responsibilities
  • Drive product innovation, execution, and lifecycle management across index, data, and analytics, aligned with both tactical and long-term goals.
  • Proactively drive discussions with clients to support product development aligned with their sustainability objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, internal collaborators, and clients throughout the product development process.
  • Develop product documentation and training materials to support the commercialisation of new offerings.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and prioritising tasks to align with strategic objectives.
  • Staying informed on developments in the sustainability industry, including regulatory changes and competitor activities.
  • Collaboratively promote sustainability capabilities and products through marketing initiatives such as webinars, events, and social media campaigns.
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • A keen interest of the sustainable investment market and how Sustainability/ESG preferences influence investment processes and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of product management processes, with demonstrated ownership of sustainable product(s) throughout the full product lifecycle is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and countries in a global, matrix organisation.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Highly organised with attentiveness to detail; able to deliver at pace, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple projects.
  • Applies insight and good judgment to make decisions that advance the Sustainable Product team’s objectives, while considering internal and external impact; proactively identifies and resolves potential issues.
  • Be at the forefront of the market to understand emerging sustainability trends.
  • Excellent client engagement skills in both Japanese and English is required.
