As a Product Manager within the Investment Performance ecosystem, you will lead a cross‑functional product team responsible for delivering a core element of the client experience—how clients understand and trust the performance of their portfolios.
The position blends product strategy, sophisticated investment and data platforms, and AI‑enabled product practices to drive tangible business outcomes. You will lead outcome‑oriented discovery across performance calculation, benchmarking, attribution, data quality, controls, and transparency, using experimentation and iteration to accelerate learning and delivery.
Working in close partnership with engineering, UX, data & analytics, compliance, and business leaders, the role provides broad exposure across the performance ecosystem and the opportunity to influence how modern, AI‑driven product management is applied to investment performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Leadership & Strategy
- Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes for Billing & Revenue products and capabilities.
- Lead continuous product discovery to identify high‑value client, operational, and business opportunities across fee calculation, invoicing, revenue recognition, and reporting workflows.
- Own backlog prioritization, story refinement, and iterative delivery, balancing speed, experimentation, and enterprise‑grade reliability, scalability, and control requirements.
AI‑Integrated Product Development
- Leverage AI tools across the product lifecycle—from research and synthesis to automation, quality improvement, and delivery acceleration.
- Partner with engineering, UX, data, and audit teams to embed AI into workflows, improving development efficiency, testing, data access, and audit support.
- Share AI best practices, prompting patterns, and tool guidance to upskill product teams and cross‑functional partners.
Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as the primary product point of accountability for direction, prioritization, and trade‑offs across Billing & Revenue initiatives, including platform modernization and capability alignment.
- Drive alignment across product, finance, accounting, engineering, and data stakeholders, navigating dependencies and resolving ambiguity.
- Foster transparent communication and trust, enabling fast decision‑making and effective collaboration across teams and domains.
Skills for Success:
Core Product Management
- Strong ability to define strategy, assess opportunities, and guide teams through discovery, delivery, and iteration in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience balancing user desirability, technical feasibility, and business viability, particularly in regulated or financially sensitive domains.
Stakeholder & Leadership Skills
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and align diverse partners across complex organizational structures.
Technical & AI Fluency
- Comfort working with AI‑enabled tools, data‑driven insights, and modern product and engineering practices.
- Ability to translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear, actionable direction for cross‑functional teams.
Mindset & Behaviors
- Curious, adaptable, and energized by ambiguity, innovation, and experimentation.
- A builder mindset with a willingness to test ideas, learn quickly, and iterate toward better outcomes.
What You’ll Gain:
- High Visibility & Strategic Impact: Direct engagement with senior leaders across product, engineering, finance, and transformation initiatives.
- Broad Product Exposure: Opportunity to work across a wide range of Billing & Revenue capabilities, client experiences, and modernization efforts.
- Early Access to AI Capabilities: Hands‑on exposure to advanced AI tools, copilots, and internal pilots applied to real enterprise problems.
- Accelerated Career Development: Growth in product strategy, innovation leadership, and AI‑enabled product management.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
