The Role

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

Lyft Urban Solutions provides innovative micromobility solutions that riders love, cities need, and operators value. We’re doing this at scale, globally. We own and/or operate bikeshare in New York (Citi Bike), Chicago (Divvy), San Francisco (Bay Wheels), Portland (Biketown), Boston (BlueBikes), and DC (Capital Bikeshare). Our full-system software and hardware is used in over 45 other global markets to power bike and scooter systems, including London, Toronto, Mexico City, Montreal and more.

We’re seeking a PM who brings creative, strategic, and analytical skills to drive forward the rider experience on our bikes and scooters. Working with a dedicated cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, product designers and UXR, the Rider team owns the end-to-end riding experience, from finding a bike, taking a ride, and having a delightful experience throughout. Through our Bike Angel program, the team works to encourage riders to take positive trips -- whether that’s bringing an ebike to a charging station or freeing up station space before the afternoon rush. And when something goes wrong, helping the rider let us know.

Responsibilities:

  • Completely own your team’s products – existing or new – from ideation, through development, launch, growth, and maintenance
  • Lead Rider Experience product strategy by developing and executing a robust roadmap, combining customer obsession with business impact to deliver on goals and mission
  • Collaborate closely with peers in Engineering, Design, Data Science, as well as our operations and leadership teams, to continually raise the bar with new and impactful software features
  • Test, iterate and learn from experiments, UXR and engaging with customers on-street.
  • Communicate clearly all roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from your peers to leadership

Experience:

  • 4+ years of product management experience with consumer-facing products
  • Natural leadership and ability to make things happen. You manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way, and you are able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products
  • Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of the product ecosystem
  • Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, and external stakeholders
  • Ability to conceptualize, prioritize and lead multiple projects for stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and experimentation approach, to validate ideas and understand true business impact
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills -- balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and request are second nature to you

Benefits:

  • Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled
  • Mental health benefits
  • Family building benefits
  • Child care and pet benefits
  • 401(k) plan to help save for your future
  • In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off
  • 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible
  • Subsidized commuter benefits
  • Lyft Pink - Lyft team members get an exclusive opportunity to test new benefits of our Ridership Program
