As a Product Manager – Vice President in our Regulatory External Data Services team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering product strategy and execution that upholds the highest standards of data accuracy, completeness, and transparency for External Reporting Controllers. You will be responsible for partnering with business owners, data owners, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver materially accurate, complete, and timely external data filings that meet regulatory, financial, and legal obligations. You will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while maintaining strong data governance and change control documentation to ensure consistent, well-controlled delivery of critical bank submissions.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and management of regulatory data and external reporting services
- Partner with stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
- Drive process optimization and cost efficiencies across the product and reporting lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into a clear, actionable technology backlog; maintain backlog health and readiness
- Manage delivery of product enhancements and reporting requirements with strong execution discipline.
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights, inform recommendations, and improve reporting quality
- Partner with technology teams (engineering, architecture, design) and data owners to deliver scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Controls, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Business Owners to confirm data requirements and support delivery of regulatory data demands
- Serve as a data/reporting subject matter expert across banking operations (e.g., mortgage lending, credit cards, auto, and/or small business).
- Understand underlying technology that drives product.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Reporting and Data Analytics, or a related role
- Strong track record of leading dynamic team and deliver complex initiatives using strong program/product management practices.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills and ability to collaborate across a highly matrix organization
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
- Executive-level communication skills with strong stakeholder management and leadership presence.
- Proficiency with data solutions and technology tools (e.g., SQL, Python, AWS).
- Ability to independently lead projects and drive outcomes end-to-end.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment.
