What we need 

The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for technology, and a customer-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: 30%
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our pre-press and print services. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the book, comic, and zine and other print markets. Define product vision and align it with company goals and customer needs.
  • Product Development: 30%
    • Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to develop new products and improve existing ones. Ensure products are designed with the end-user in mind, focusing on quality, usability, and efficiency. Manage the product development process, including the creation of specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Customer Engagement: 15%
    • Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs and preferences. Work with the sales and marketing teams to communicate product benefits and features to customers. Provide training and support to the sales team to help them effectively sell our products.
  • Project Management: 15%
    • Oversee project timelines and ensure milestones are met. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution. Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery.
  • Performance Metrics and Analysis: 10%
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Analyze product performance data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. Prepare and present regular reports on product performance and progress to senior management.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the print or publishing industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing products from concept to launch.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of pre-press and print processes.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with product management tools and software.
    • Knowledge of print production software and processes.
