As a Product Manager in Merchant Services supporting SMBs, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.


Job responsibilities  


  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Owns the post-onboarding client experience strategy, roadmap, and delivery to improve activation, usage, and retention across the lifecycle
  • Drives product activation and growth initiatives by identifying key adoption moments, defining success metrics, and delivering measurable improvements
  • Defines the monetization strategy across the client journey, including digital pricing experience redesign, to generate incremental revenue and improve customer satisfaction
  • Builds and partners to launch new value-added services and adjacent products, from discovery and business case through delivery and commercialization
  • Develops a clear product vision and multi-quarter roadmap, managing trade-offs across growth, customer experience, risk posture, and operational scalabilty
  • Partner cross-functionally across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Credit, Sales, and Commercial teams, leading forums and influencing decisions to drive alignment and execution
  • Manages discovery efforts using customer feedback, journey mapping, and data insights to identify opportunities and validate solutions


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 


  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex initiatives, driving cross-functional execution from strategy through delivery in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and drive execution, translating complex problems into scalable, customer-centric solutions with measurable outcomes
  • Strong ownership and accountability, with a track record of leading initiatives end-to-end across the full product lifecycle
  • Strong customer-centric mindset, with experience designing and optimizing digital customer journeys end-to-end
  • Executive-level communication and presence, with the ability to clearly articulate perspectives, challenge thinking, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Leverages data and analytics to set KPIs, diagnose funnel drop-off, prioritize work, and measure impact (activation/usage, revenue, satisfaction)

  • Shows strong monetization instincts (pricing/packaging, attach, journey-based offers) with evidence of revenue impact
  • Demonstrates experience building or scaling value-added services and launching new products with commercialization partners
  • Has experience with production monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement for customer-impacting issues
  • Operates effectively in a highly matrixed environment, influencing without authority and driving crisp decisions
