Help shape how customers begin their banking journey.

At the heart of Everyday Banking, we're reimagining how customers open and access transaction accounts. As we undertake a significant multi-year transformation of our origination experiences, we're looking for a Product Manager to join our Acquisition & Originations team and play a key role in designing, delivering and optimising the experiences used by thousands of customers every day. This role is focused on leading discovery, translating business needs into digital experiences and partnering across design, technology, risk and compliance teams to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

Your impact

As Product Manager, you'll join the Transaction Origination Squad within the Acquisition & Originations stream, working alongside an experienced Senior Product Manager and partnering closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering customer onboarding and account opening experiences, helping to simplify complex journeys while ensuring compliance, risk and customer needs are balanced effectively, as well as;

  • Lead discovery activities to identify opportunities to improve origination and onboarding experiences.
  • Gather, define and document business requirements, translating them into customer-centric digital journeys.
  • Partner with UX and UI teams to design seamless customer experiences.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Coordinate and influence a broad stakeholder group across Product, Digital, Risk, Compliance, Privacy and Legal teams.
  • Lead workstreams where requirements or scope may be evolving, bringing structure, clarity and momentum.
  • Validate solutions against agreed business outcomes, requirements and designs.
  • Support business verification and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities to optimise customer and operational outcomes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing transformation of origination journeys, including initiatives supporting customers moving to Australia.

We're interested in hearing from you if you have:

  • Experience in a Product Manager with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into digital customer journeys, process improvements, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within large, complex organisations, navigating ambiguity and bringing structure to evolving requirements and workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across business, design, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving capability, with a curious mindset and a proactive approach to identifying issues, investigating root causes and driving solutions.
  • Strong process mapping, journey optimisation and business analysis skills, coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and delivery teams to translate customer and business needs into scalable solutions.

Highly desirable

  • Experience within Everyday Banking, transaction accounts, customer onboarding or origination environments.
  • Digital product experience with a focus on customer journeys and digital experiences.
  • Familiarity with origination processes, digital analytics and customer acquisition journeys.
  • Experience partnering with UX/UI teams to create intuitive customer experiences.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach and a bias for action when working through complexity and change.

Join a team driving a major transformation in Everyday Banking, where you'll shape the digital experiences customers use to start their banking journey. Working with experienced product leaders and senior stakeholders across Product, Digital, Risk and Technology, you'll have genuine ownership, strong development opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
