Summary:
As the Product Manager, Onboarding & Activation, you will own the critical first stages of the user journey, focusing on driving engagement and conversion through targeted subscription models, seamless onboarding experiences, and data-driven optimizations. You will work closely with our growth marketing, engineering, and design teams to identify opportunities, implement product-led growth strategies, and ensure every new user is set up for long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Subscription Model Innovation:
- Experiment with various subscription models and paywall tactics to enhance user conversion for our core and premium experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing to test pricing strategies, freemium models, and add-on services.
- Onboarding Experience:
- Design and implement personalized onboarding flows that cater to users of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
- Work with design and content teams to create welcoming, engaging first experiences for new users to increase activation as part of the broader user journey.
- Implement Growth Strategies:
- Develop and execute product-led growth initiatives and features aimed at increasing subscription rates and upsell opportunities.
- Partner with marketing to align campaigns with promotions and in-product experiences.
- Member Statuses and Payment Systems:
- Collaborate with engineering to address and improve backend systems related to payment processing.
- Work to streamline logic for trials, renewals, and declined payments to reduce friction and enhance the user experience.
- Identify and address gaps in existing processes to ensure seamless payment workflows and accurate subscription tracking.
- Data-Driven Optimization:
- Conduct research to uncover pain points and barriers to conversion to inform strategy.
- Utilize analytics to identify opportunities for growth within the product.
- Conduct A/B tests to optimize conversion paths, onboarding flows, and activation strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the bridge between marketing, engineering, design, and analytics teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Advocate for user needs and ensure alignment with Glo’s business objectives.
- Partner with product counterparts across other areas of the business to develop and execute on a cohesive strategy.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in subscription-based businesses and wellness/fitness tech.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up, ready to roll up your sleeves, quickly pivot based on data, and wear multiple hats as needed.
- Proven track record of implementing growth strategies that drive user acquisition and activation. Prior experience with onboarding and top of funnel experiences preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, data analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Technical product management experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, understand technical constraints, and ensure seamless execution of product requirements.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for health and wellness, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the space.

This position is fully remote for anyone living in California, Arkansas, Minnesota, Florida, Tennessee, or Texas.
Some travel may be required for in-person collaboration
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000/year + equity
