Openbank is looking for a Product Manager for Mobility Services & Ecosystems based out of Boadilla del Monte, Spain, in a hybrid working model.

At Openbank, within the Auto domain of Santander, our ambition is to evolve beyond vehicle financing and become a trusted partner throughout our customers’ mobility journey.

As mobility becomes increasingly connected, digital, and service-driven, new opportunities are emerging to create value beyond the financing contract. Customers increasingly expect integrated experiences that simplify vehicle ownership, usage, maintenance, and payment, while OEMs and mobility providers seek partners capable of orchestrating services across the ecosystem.

As Product Manager for Mobility Services & Ecosystems, you will define and develop Santander's mobility services strategy, creating products and experiences that extend our relationship with customers beyond vehicle financing. You will identify and scale new revenue streams, deepen customer engagement, and position Santander at the centre of the evolving mobility ecosystem. You will also play a key role in exploring how AI and emerging technologies can create entirely new customer experiences and business models across automotive finance and mobility.

Mission

Define and scale Santander's mobility services and value-added propositions, leveraging data, AI, and emerging technologies to create meaningful customer experiences beyond financing, strengthening customer relationships and loyalty, increasing customer lifetime value, and positioning Santander as a key partner across the mobility ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Openbank’s strategy for mobility-related products and services across the customer lifecycle, expanding the role beyond vehicle financing.
  • Identify, develop, test, and scale new mobility propositions that increase customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Work closely with local markets to validate product-market fit, incorporate customer feedback, and scale successful initiatives across the domain.
  • Explore opportunities across connected, autonomous, electric, and shared mobility, including integrated payment experiences and recurring mobility-related transactions.
  • Define and deliver AI-enabled propositions that enhance vehicle ownership, usage, and mobility experiences, translating emerging technologies into practical business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, mobility providers, payment partners, and internal Santander teams to build scalable ecosystem partnerships and reusable global capabilities.

Professional Experience

• 8+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably in complex, multi-market environments. Required
• 8+ years of experience in mobility, automotive, payments, connected services, platform businesses, or emerging technologies. Required
• Experience identifying product-market fit and scaling successful propositions across markets. Preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Digital Product, Technology, or a related field.

Required
• Master’s Degree or additional training in Product Management, Innovation, Mobility, Digital Business, or related disciplines. Preferred

Languages

• English. Required
• Spanish. Preferred
