Job Description
This Associate position will work closely with Product Managers and Sales managing brochures, client engagement as well as customer proposals, helping manage product suites and marketing materials.
Payments is seeking an Associate to work closely with Japan Product Managers / Sales in managing brochures, client engagement as well as customer proposals. With the digital transformation, industries are undergoing massive shifts and needs to change. This new position will help manage product suits and marketing materials into next stage of process excellence. Excellent PowerPoint, pro-active and inquisitive thinking as well as native Japanese writing skills are essential.
The position would be ideal for those who seek to start building a career in Payments at JPMorgan and be exposed to the wide range of cash management solutions. The scope of the product solutions / services are very diverse, ranging from traditional banking services to the latest market trends such as gig-economy or Open API or IoT.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for local product P&L and performance of Payments products
  • Synthesize and simplify complex product features into client-friendly materials and communications incorporating also a sales angle
  • Develop client-facing content and materials for direct client interactions and sales enablement for Japan market
  • Support in-country Product Managers to upgrade and maintain product brochures and customer proposals in a creative manner
  • Support key stakeholders including Sales, Client Service and Implementation to develop a customer-friendly content in Japanese and English
  • Ensure materials are compliant with evolving regulations and internal policies
  • Review current offerings against market developments and changes in payment landscape with a view to improve/innovate JPM solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Open minded and self-driven, while intellectually curious. Great sales skills and communicator, being eager to learn new things. Interested in the gig-economy
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure within deadlines is key. Ensure quality deliverables and build credibility across stakeholders with attention to detail is critical for success
  • Passion for financial services and gig-economy, the candidate must genuinely love the industry and understand how J.P. Morgan can play an important role in shaping the future - anything less just won't do
  • Excellent organizational skills are critical as you will interact with multiple stakeholders
  • Energetic self-starter with ability to multi-task and interface with different stakeholders to deliver products objectives
  • In-depth sense of the flow and design in communications including Powerpoint
  • A mature self-motivated team player

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
A few years of prior work experience within the banking industry is preferable.
