Position: Product Manager III
Job Location: 1600 Agua Mansa Road, Colton, CA 92324
Duties: Develop and enhance complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Craft and develop solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance. Define and manage strategy and business objectives for minimally complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Seek and implement continuous improvements and encourage the team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working. Deliver expected business results while putting the customer first and consistently applying an omni-merchant mindset and the Every Day Low Price (EDLP) business model and the Every Day Low Cost (EDLC) business model to all plans. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Software Management, or related area and 1 year of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Software Management, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience creating and documenting SQL queries using PostgreSQL, Big Query, Informix, and DB2. Experience creating and managing data visualizations using Grafana, Power BI, and Looker. Experience collecting, documenting, and enhancing product requirements using Confluence and Jira. Experience creating product roadmaps using Jira, Microsoft (MS) Excel, and Confluence. Experience using and designing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience with material handling equipment and automation system integrations. Experience creating and improving User Experiences (UX) in supply chain software (Figma). Experience creating and managing AI (Artificial Intelligence) enabled products. Experience working with AGILE/SCRUM development teams using Jira and Github. Experience with Technical Writing including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). Experience managing printing and labelling equipment, including Zebra and Xerox. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $99,000/year to $198,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
