Position: Product Manager III, GenAI
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Define strategy and roadmap through research of customer pain-points. Monitor feedback. Refine and prioritize features through backlog grooming. Conduct end-to-end product lifecycle management for consumer insights data products. Create customized reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to help assess product performance and health and communicate product release progress and results to business executives and other stakeholders. Cooperate with data scientists and data engineers to build anomaly detection-based machine learning models utilizing multivariate analysis and Natural Language Generation for surfacing actionable data driven insights for Walmart suppliers and merchants. Apply advanced knowledge of Python and click-stream data analysis for creating customer mapping to identify new feature recommendations around personalized user experiences. Translate business use cases into product engineering specifications. Conduct functional testing utilizing knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and API validation and program management tools. Conduct hypothesis driven experimentation through A/B test to evaluate feature proposals. Analyze and interpret results using statistical significance level and p-value analysis. Define metrics to assess product health and conversion rates and develop KPIs that help increase customer value and product adoption using business analytic tools and languages like Splunk, SQL, and Adobe Analytics. Identify and implement efficiency improvements in supply chain analytic process by leveraging advance analytic tools such as predictive modeling and machine learning techniques. Work with suppliers to address their pain points. Conduct competitive/market analysis to identify product opportunities and ensure long-term product success. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related area; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related area and 2 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience identifying product opportunities and market trends. Experience managing the Product Lifecycle including project planning, quality assurance, and risk management. Experience designing technical specifications on functional requirements using Jira, data models, and user experience flows via Figma. Experience with data engineering to set up pipeline and workflow management. Experience with data analytics with big data technologies and API validation. Experience using data visualization tools to create reports and dashboards. Experience using statistical methods for experimentation and analysis. Experience with metric definition and KPI development to define metrics for product health and conversion rates using analytical tools and languages. Experience evaluating the impact of data production tools on quality and effectiveness. Experience enhancing tools with technical teams. Experience identifying and mitigating biases and vulnerabilities in data production and management process. Experience developing methodologies for data acquisition and production, with a focus on monitoring costs and assessing effectiveness. Experience driving user studies, product evaluations, and case studies to gather feedback for product improvement and optimizing user experience. Experience with sentiment analysis techniques through text mining for comprehensive insights. Experience maintaining a security-first mindset in product development. Experience ensuring adherence to legislation and standards to safeguard user privacy and data. Experience with AI/ML development workflows, ML infrastructure and processes, implementing frameworks, utilizing notebooks, labeling tools, and leveraging cloud computing for scalable machine learning solutions. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
