About the role:
In this Product Management role, you’ll benefit from our heavy investment in R&D as you build and roll-out new products for the rapidly-changing fintech landscape. In order to advance the way the world pay, banks and invests, you’ll manage life-cycle planning activities for the delivery of new products and ensure changes in market and business priorities are reflected. We’re looking for someone who can stay steady in the serious world of Finance, and still embrace the occasional dynamics that come with building the future.
About the team:
You will report to the Global Product Director and be part of a small group of Product Managers who have extensive knowledge and expertise in Financial Technologies. As a team, we manage the portfolio of solutions in the rich domain of Enterprise Money Movement, covering both the foundational framework and globally applicable solutions as well as the regional/domestic product applications. The team has regular interlock with colleagues from the Sales and Growth office, as well as daily touchpoints with the product delivery and client implementation teams as part of the ‘Value Stream’ processes.
What you will be doing:
• Preparing and presenting product plans that identify risks and challenges, opportunities and growth strategies.
• Managing project inventory during budget planning process and providing content for product roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitoring each product’s profit and loss statement.
• Collaborating with senior management, completing business scope documents and managing key vendor relationships.
• Interacting with product delivery and client implementation teams to evangelize product capabilities and sync up in order to align product roadmap scope to client priorities and implementation timelines.
What you will need:
• General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence.
• Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
• the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where innovation sometimes takes unexpected turns
• to stay grounded, solutions-focused, and positive throughout change.
Added bonus if you have:
• prior experience in a large-scale software Product Management role
• deep-dive domain expertise in enterprise payments across US domestic and international schemes
• knowledge about the FIS Open Payment Framework and related assets
• a broad relevant network of industry peers
• a good sense of humor
