In this role, you will lead tactical product activities for one of Anova’s two hardware verticals — Commercial Fuels or Industrial Gas & Chemical — including telemetry devices, segment-specific sensors, and solution kits. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own hardware platform decisions for a market vertical (commercial fuels or industrial gas/chem) as the product expert, influencing market strategy, steering the roadmap, and overseeing day-to-day product decisions within the product portfolio.
  • Identify and lead new product development opportunities through capturing Voice of Customer (VoC) and engaging the market through customer interactions, industry events, and market research.
  • Develop business cases and plan programs by identifying product-market-fit, analyzing pricing strategy, and engaging stakeholders to scope development effort and timelines.
  • Continually evaluate and improve current product solutions by identifying gaps, prioritizing feature additions/changes, and continually assessing underperforming products for enhancements.
  • Lead hardware device pilots and field trials, define success criteria, recruit customers, coordinate logistics, track outcomes, and inform go/no-go decisions.
  • Drive minor product design changes and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from request through release — balancing prioritization of these requests against team capacity and roadmap timelines.
  • Lead new sensor compatibility releases, coordinating sensor support launches with suppliers, hardware and software engineering, and sales.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional initiatives across Anova through process-driven management approaches, clear and timely communication, and effective interpersonal skills.

What you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum Requirements -

  • 5+ years of professional experience in engineering, field operations, technical program management, or a closely adjacent technical/industrial function, including 2–4 years specifically in product management — with a clear track record of problem solving and shipping work that touched physical product.
  • Bachelor’s degree in product, engineering, business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • English Language – advanced level (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams (pilots, releases, ECOs) without losing track of details or stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-facing instincts: comfortable in the field, on the phone, and in a customer’s plant or yard; able to ask the questions behind the question.
  • Comfort with the data side of product work — pulling, organizing, and analyzing customer, business, and product data to inform decisions.
  • Clear written communication. You can turn a messy meeting or trial into a one-page summary the rest of the org can act on.

Preferred Requirements -

  • Familiarity with the industrial gas and/or industrial chemical industry.
  • Direct exposure to IoT hardware, sensors, telematics, or industrial monitoring products.
  • Exposure to product analytics tools and customer feedback tooling.
  • Experience running pilots, beta programs, or controlled field trials with B2B customers.

Physical Requirements -

  • Ability to perform typical office tasks, including sitting or standing for extended periods, using a computer, and communicating effectively; ability to travel to customer sites, industrial plants, and yards (approximately 10–15% of the time), including occasional lifting of light equipment.
