The Role
Lead strategy, discovery, roadmap, backlog, user research, Agile delivery, and lifecycle management for a unified Global Security experience product. Partner with engineering, UX, analytics, security operations, intelligence, aviation, and workforce screening teams to improve operator workflows, decision support, data governance, compliance, reliability, and measurable user outcomes. Define requirements, metrics, releases, and dashboards while coordinating testing, deployments, and issue resolution.
Summary Generated by Built In

You enjoy shaping the future of product innovation as a core leader, driving value for customers, guiding successful launches, and exceeding expectations. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products that resonate with the operators who protect our people, assets, and reputation.

As a Product Manager Vice President in Global Security, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing products that create tangible value for the security professionals who use them. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of new capabilities, gather crucial feedback from front-line users, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to usability, scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences that exceed operator expectations.

In this role, you will be empowered to shape and influence the strategic vision and execution for an experience product that unifies the day-to-day workflows of our SOCs, Executive Protection, Aviation, Intelligence, and Workforce Screening teams. This is not a horizontal platform — it is the interface, workflow, and decision-support layer these teams rely on to detect threats, protect principals, secure flights, produce intelligence, and vet the workforce. Partnering with Engineering, Data & Analytics, User and Employee Experience (UX/EX), Security Operations, and Product Delivery Managers, you will translate deep operator insight into cohesive, role-based experiences — embedding auditable workflows, contextual data, and capability enhancements that drive operational efficiency and faster, better decisions. You will help position Global Security at the forefront of user-centered, data-driven innovation, ensuring every persona has the right information, at the right moment, in the right form to act.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and product vision for an integrated Global Security experience that delivers measurable value to SOCs, Executive Protection, Aviation, Intelligence, and Workforce Screening users.
  • Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover unmet operator needs and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Own, maintain, and evolve a product backlog that enables engineering to support the overall strategic roadmap, user-experience vision, and value proposition.
  • Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics — including user adoption, task time, workflow completion, decision quality, feature performance, risk posture, and reliability.
  • Conduct deep analyses of end-to-end operator journeys, tools, and data touchpoints — supplemented by stakeholder interviews, shadowing sessions, and usability research — to validate problems, uncover friction, and define high-impact experience opportunities across all five customer teams.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and design sessions with UX/EX, Engineering, Security Operations, Intelligence analysts, and functional data owners to capture requirements, drive consensus, and align on user-journey and interaction designs.
  • Refine and prioritize the product backlog: author epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira/Confluence; manage dependencies with Product Delivery Managers; and maintain release plans anchored to user outcomes.
  • Embed data governance, security controls, and compliance requirements into every feature through cross-functional partnerships to deliver audit-ready, enterprise-grade experiences appropriate for sensitive security use cases.
  • Lead Agile delivery — running sprint planning, coordinating QA/UAT with operator representatives from each team, managing release deployments, and driving swift defect and production-issue resolution to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
  • Partner with upstream data, integration, and analytics platform teams (including Automation, Reporting & Intelligent Analytics — ARIA) to surface predictive insights, automated workflows, and role-based dashboards inside the experience where operators actually work.
  • Define, track, and report on key success metrics (adoption, task efficiency, incident response times, user satisfaction/NPS, reliability, risk posture), using interactive dashboards and retrospectives to drive continuous experience improvement.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, user-centered design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Hands-on Product Management experience delivering user-facing/experience products in enterprise security, operations, or incident-management domains, with a proven track record launching large-scale products that consolidate multiple workflows for professional operator personas.
  • Deep expertise in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira/Confluence), including backlog prioritization, epic/user-story definition, release planning, and full product lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles, journey mapping, and workflow design — combined with working knowledge of the underlying data, APIs, and event-driven services (e.g., Kafka, REST/GraphQL) that power modern experience products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operator research and complex datasets into actionable experience enhancements.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive-presence skills — adept at driving consensus in highly matrixed environments, distilling diverse stakeholder feedback, and delivering compelling executive presentations.
  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end product discovery, ideation, and user research, and to translate business and operator requirements into strategic roadmap priorities.
  • Demonstrated success managing competing priorities and building cross-functional partnerships across engineering, UX/EX, operations, and delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Direct experience building products for one or more of the following operator communities: Security Operations Centers (SOCs), Executive Protection, Intelligence/all-source analysis, Aviation or Workforce Screening.
  • Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR platforms, unified command-and-control systems, GSOC tooling, case-management systems, or intelligence production workflows.
  • Experience partnering with AI/ML and analytics teams to embed predictive models, automated workflows, and advanced dashboards into user-facing experiences, accelerating operator decision-making.
  • Experience leveraging process-mining, task-mining, and journey-analytics tools to optimize operator workflows.
  • Familiarity with data-sharing frameworks, entitlement services, and data-governance best practices as they apply to sensitive security data surfaced in user experiences.
