We're looking for a Product Manager to join George Technology and help shape the future of products that support one of the UK's largest fashion and home retail brands.

You'll be responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap and priorities for multiple products across the George Technology portfolio. Working closely with business and technology teams, you'll identify opportunities, prioritise investment and ensure products deliver measurable value for customers, colleagues and the wider business.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, drive outcomes rather than outputs, and help embed a mature product-led culture across George.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact across a portfolio of strategically important products and initiatives.

What You'll Do

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for multiple products and product areas across George Technology.
  • Translate business strategy, customer needs and technology priorities into clear product outcomes and measurable objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer, colleague and business experiences through technology and process improvement.
  • Prioritise investment and delivery activity based on value, evidence, risk and strategic alignment.
  • Lead product discovery activities to understand problems, validate opportunities and shape potential solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, delivery and business teams throughout discovery, delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Use customer insight, product analytics and operational data to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.
  • Define and communicate product priorities, ensuring stakeholders understand key trade-offs and decisions.
  • Shape and refine epics, features and user stories, ensuring teams have sufficient clarity to deliver effectively.
  • Manage product performance, identifying opportunities to improve adoption, reliability, efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Champion product management best practices and contribute to the development of George's product capability and community.

About You

You'll be an experienced Product Manager with a strong understanding of modern product management principles and a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of product management practices and the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Experience managing multiple products, platforms or complex product domains.
  • A proven ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
  • Strong prioritisation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using data, customer insight and business feedback to drive product decisions.
  • Experience leading product discovery and defining clear problem statements and desired outcomes.
  • The ability to translate complex requirements into well-defined product backlogs, epics and user stories.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary product, engineering and delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A collaborative approach and a passion for developing people and helping teams succeed.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means:

  • Product strategies, roadmaps and priorities are clearly defined, understood and aligned to business objectives.
  • Investment decisions are increasingly driven by measurable value, evidence and outcomes.
  • Teams focus on solving meaningful customer and business problems, rather than simply delivering requested features.
  • Products continue to improve in reliability, usability, supportability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stakeholders have clarity and confidence in product direction, priorities and delivery plans.
  • Product performance is measured effectively, with decisions informed by insight and evidence.
  • Product management practices become increasingly consistent, scalable and embedded across the George Technology portfolio.

Why Join George?

At George, you'll have the opportunity to shape products that support millions of customers and colleagues across one of the UK's best-known retail brands.

You'll work alongside talented technology and business teams, influence strategic decisions, and play a key role in continuing the development of a modern, outcome-focused product organisation.

If you're passionate about building great products, solving meaningful problems and creating measurable value, we'd love to hear from you.
