MedTrans Go's platform acts as a two-sided digital marketplace that matches healthcare facilities/systems ("customers") with businesses and individuals providing services like medical transportation and interpretation ("service partners"). The Software Product Manager will lead the development and management of our platform. This role will report to the Chief Technology Officer with a dotted line to the COO and CEO or MedTrans Go. This role is crucial for enhancing our Partner Portal, Admin Portal, Customer Portal, and Partner Mobile Application.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the CTO and overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Ability to take and follow direction from senior leaders and transform directives into actionable product strategy.
- Define and communicate product vision and strategies to all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the Partner Portal, Admin Portal, Customer Portal, and Partner Mobile Application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and business personnel to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and incorporate it into product development roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to software and data security. This may include HIPAA, PII, and SOC II standards.
- Lead beta testing and product launches, coordinating with business unit leaders from operations, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful rollouts.
- Develop testing plans and guidelines making it easier for company users to provide quality testing feedback.
- Take initiative to ensure features and bugs are thoroughly tested before released.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in software product management, ideally within the healthcare or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA or similar tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing mobile applications and web-based platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards affecting healthcare and transportation industries is a plus.

What We Do
MedTrans Go is a B2B healthcare appointment optimization marketplace solving the $150B problem of medical appointment cancellations in the US. Our tech-enabled portal provides healthcare facilities and others coordinating patient care access to a customizable suite of services to address the root causes of their cancellations in one easy-to-use, integrated digital platform.
The US healthcare system loses $150B due to missed appointments every year. More than 50% of these cancellations are due to lack of transportation or interpretation services. We created fully functioning web and mobile portals which utilize excess capacity of medical transportation providers, interpreters, and more through our custom-designed software for scheduling, dispatching, and tracking requests with built-in, integrated software for billing, invoicing, and record-keeping. Our mission is to reduce medical appointment cancellations and the burden these cancellations place on healthcare providers, as well as to remove barriers for all patients to access necessary healthcare services.
