Product Manager - Finance

About the Role  

We are looking for a senior Product Manager to lead Coherent’s Finance and Governance solutions across Spark, Insights and Control. 

This role focuses on how large financial institutions and insurers run their most critical finance processes - from capital modelling and regulatory reporting to FP&A, treasury and operational controls. 

Many of these processes are powered by complex spreadsheets. Coherent transforms those models into governed, scalable, API-enabled services with workflow, auditability and control built in. 

You will define and own the product strategy for how our platform serves finance, risk and control teams in enterprise environments. 

This is not a single-product role. You will shape how each pillar of our platform comes together into a unified finance solution. 

Now you may be wondering what your day-to-day will look like. You will... 

• Define the product vision for finance-led use cases (regulatory reporting, capital & liquidity modelling, forecasting, controls automation, etc.) 

• Own the roadmap for finance and governance capabilities across the platform 

• Translate real-world finance processes into scalable product features (e.g. approvals, validation, version control, segregation of duties, audit trails) 

• Develop and deliver product features based on client feedback and data-driven trends 

• Shape Control as a workflow and governance layer for critical finance processes 

• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to refine messaging and positioning in the US market 

• Define success metrics tied to risk reduction, process efficiency and compliance coverage for clients 

• Work closely with engineering to ensure we build platform capabilities, not bespoke solutions 

• Identify opportunities for AI-driven model validation, anomaly detection and process monitoring 

What experience and attributes we think you need to get the job done...

• 8+ years Product Management experience in enterprise software 

• Strong exposure to financial services or insurance finance functions 

• Deep understanding of:
  

             - Financial controls environments 

             - Regulatory reporting processes 

             - Spreadsheet risk and EUC governance 

             - Model validation and audit requirements 

• Experience building workflow-driven or governance-centric products 

• Comfortable engaging senior finance and risk stakeholders 

• Data-driven and outcome-oriented 

• Experience in agile, high-growth SaaS environments
