Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our product team and play a key role in shaping and delivering products that create meaningful value for customers while driving business growth. The successful candidate will lead customer discovery, user research, and market analysis activities to identify unmet needs, validate opportunities, and inform product strategy.

They will be adept at synthesising customer insights, industry trends, regulatory developments, and operational requirements into clear product direction, balancing compliance, usability, and business objectives. Working closely with customers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams, they will transform complex challenges into impactful solutions that deliver measurable value for both customers and the organisation.

Contributing to Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities through customer research, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence.

  • Provide input and subject matter expertise to develop business cases with other key stakeholders and recommend investment priorities based on customer value, strategic alignment, and commercial impact.

  • Support portfolio planning and contribute to long-term product and platform strategy.

Customer Discovery & Market Insight

  • Lead customer discovery, user research, and validation activities to gain deep insight into customer needs, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry participants to ensure product decisions are informed by real-world needs.

  • Analyse market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

  • Translate customer, market, and business insights into clear product opportunities and strategic recommendations.

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with product strategy and desired outcomes.

  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that provide clarity to delivery teams.

  • Work closely with UX, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams throughout the product lifecycle to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide ongoing product direction and business context to development teams.

  • Support product releases, adoption activities, and successful go-to-market execution.

Value Realisation & Performance

  • Define and monitor product success metrics, using data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

  • Own product outcomes, including customer adoption, engagement, satisfaction, and business performance.

  • Incorporate commercial considerations, including revenue opportunities, pricing, and profitability, into product decisions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, operational efficiency, and overall product effectiveness.

Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration

  • Align customers, stakeholders, and senior leaders around product priorities, roadmap decisions, and strategic objectives.

  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and collaborative design activities.

  • Act as the primary product advocate, ensuring customer needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements are balanced effectively.

  • Ensure delivered solutions for product portfolio remain aligned with organisational goals, regulatory obligations, and evolving market needs.

Required Experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in Product Management, or a related role, within a technology-driven environment.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering products or features from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Experience contributing to product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization based on customer needs, business objectives, and market opportunities.
