About the RoleEngine by MoneyLion (https://engine.tech), is looking for an experienced Product Manager to spearhead the development of emerging financial product verticals. You will play a key role in defining our go-to-market strategy, designing new user experiences, and executing against the product roadmap. You will also own many of the core backend services powering our B2B fintech platform. As Product Manager, Emerging Verticals & Platform, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Product, Design, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics to create compelling user experiences in emerging verticals
- Define our go-to-market strategy by thoroughly understanding channel partner, financial institution, and consumer needs
- Own & prioritize improvements to critical backend infrastructure used across the MoneyLion ecosystem (e.g. financial reporting, capping, offer management, user identity, and data pipelines)
- Create product requirements documents for new initiatives, including technical specifications
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to build consensus around solutions and measure impact, employing tools like AB testing and user research
- Prioritize initiatives in our product roadmap with executive stakeholders across the organization
- Run an agile process with our engineering teams, writing tickets and grooming the backlog as necessary
- Ship high-quality features that have an immediate and measurable impact on our business
- Communicate progress, successes, and setbacks with a broad company audience, including executive leadership
About You
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management and/or engineering
- Understanding of fundamentals in computer science, REST APIs, and technical specifications
- Proficiency with SQL, data pipelines, and entity-relationship models
- Strong communication skills with both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience collaborating directly with engineers to build products—including ticketing, prioritization, and unblocking where necessary
- Experience with business requirement analysis, product design, user acceptance testing, user experience research, competitive analysis, etc.
- Demonstrable success in execution and launch of new products or features with clear impact—ideally in a fintech, adtech, or ecommerce environment
- Experience in fintech marketplaces, consumer financial products, and/or adtech is highly preferred
- Knowledge of product/offer catalogs is a plus
- Programming experience is a plus
This role is onsite 4 days a week out of our New York City office.
The annual base salary for the Product Manager, is expected to be between $110,000 to $135,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
