The Opportunity
Draftable is a fast-growing legal-tech software company used by law firms and in-house teams globally. Since launching our flagship legal document comparison product in 2023, more than 900 organizations have come on board.
You’ll help scale our product portfolio by taking ownership over product processes to build, launch and grow new product categories. This individual contributor role, reporting to the Product Lead, also presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your B2B SaaS Product experience to co-design and implement AI-automated product operations.
Why this role
  • Own the discovery, design, development and launch of new product categories
  • Join a fast-growing scale-up with established market distribution for new products
  • Redesign and automate product operations for the AI-era
  • Work in a customer-centric culture focused on solving real problems
  • Operate with high trust and independence and flexible hybrid working arrangements

What you’ll do
  • Product discovery & Design: speak with customers to clarify problems, specify functional requirements; and write PRDs and build prototypes with AI.
  • Product development: translate customer feedback in Zendesk into Jira tickets, align engineers on roadmaps, own acceptance testing prior to release.
  • Go to market: write release notes, create product marketing assets (demo videos, objection handling guides, etc.) and train Sales and Customer Success roles.
  • Postlaunch growth: join customer feedback calls, analyze HubSpot and App Insights data on adoption & retention to prioritize improvements and new bets.
  • AI product process automation: Co-design AI-enabled product processes, leveraging ChatGPT / Claude, Miro, Lovable, and custom internal tools.

What you will bring
  • 5+ years in a product or product-related role (e.g. Associate Product Manager, Product Specialist, Product Manager, or similar)
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with an understanding of the legal industry
  • Product sense/taste (ideally grounded in product design experience) with a track record working with engineers to deliver on roadmaps
  • Product marketing skills that can deliver assets (e.g. videos, presentations, flyers), ideally in the context of Outbound Sales
  • Comfort in a growth startup environment where you define new AI-enabled product processes.
  • A data-driven approach to problem-solving, and can balance technical, commercial, and user considerations.
  • Excellent communication, able to distill complexity into clarity for different stakeholders to reach alignment.

Melbourne-based hybrid role with office location in CBD. Expect periodic travel for customer meetings, conferences and events.
Salary
A range of AUD $130,000 - $180,000 (inclusive of superannuation) according to level of skills and experience.
