Job Description

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Product Manager - Contractor to lend specific subject matter knowledge around emerging technologies from AI to Data Analytics

  • Responsible for the definition and end-to-end management of medium to large-sized products and/or services within a technical area of expertise, ensuring alignment to the organization's product strategy
  • Investigates, selects and drives the development of medium to large products and services, contributing to the development of the product vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Drives customer research activities, communicate roadmaps to the customer community and incorporates customer feedback and requirements into plans and roadmaps, acting as a customer advocate
  • Provides regular updates about product direction and release plans to senior stakeholders and clients
  • Develops trusted relationships with senior business, technical, and client stakeholders to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met

Qualifications

  • Defines and manages the product lifecycle including market requirements, product release plans, user stories, release criteria, product launch and organization readiness activities
  • Leads the execution of the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a product or set of products within a product family, communicating the vision and goals of the product to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develops the product positioning and contributes to product pricing decisions
  • Creates and maintains the product backlog, prioritizing needs and mapping out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development
  • Establishes the commercial and business case for product enhancement, continuously seeking the expansion and improvement of existing products
  • Partners with senior internal stakeholders and customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met​

Skills Required

  • Experience in product management or related field
  • Ability to develop product vision, strategy, and roadmaps
  • Experience with customer research and feedback integration
  • Proficiency in product lifecycle management
