The role
Own Fasset's compliance and risk product roadmap: AML/KYC infrastructure, Travel Rule compliance, account controls, and jurisdictional expansion, shipped with a dedicated engineering pod. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs define the requirement; you turn it into a shipped, audited feature. Considering leveling at both Senior PM (4+ years in product) and Lead PM (7+ years in product).
Responsibilities
Full-surface ownership. Compliance, risk, security, and regulatory all sit inside your remit. You pull in the right people without being told to, and you make the tradeoff call when priorities collide.
Regulatory risk, prioritized: When everything feels urgent, you're the one who sees the whole roadmap clearly enough to know what actually has to move first, and why.
Jurisdictional fluency: Fasset operates under multiple regulatory regimes at once. You know what's shared infrastructure and what has to be rebuilt market by market, and that judgment shapes how you sequence everything.
Product mindset and discipline: Compliance and Legal define the requirement; you own turning it into something specced, sequenced and shipped, with the same rigor as any other development pod.
AI-native execution. Every pod at Fasset is expected to move faster by building with AI, not around it. Redefine what it means to be an AI-enabled PM by going into more depth about compliance best practices, implementation standards and tool adoption.
What we are looking for
- You've shipped compliance or risk products in both crypto (Travel Rule, VASP obligations, on-chain monitoring) and traditional finance (AML/KYC, PEP, EDD). Real fluency in both, not one with a passing knowledge of the other.
- You use AI tools daily to move faster and see that as core to how product gets built now, not a novelty on the side.
- You've owned a roadmap end to end, including the parts nobody assigned you: the resourcing case, the stakeholder alignment, the escalation nobody wanted to make.
- You've shipped in multi-jurisdiction, multi-regulator environments and know what changes market to market versus what's shared infrastructure.
- You can find a control that's silently broken, fix it, and build the check that catches the next one.
- Experience in emerging markets or with Islamic finance products is a strong plus.
Compensation and structure
Top-of-market for your geography. Reports to Head of Platform. Daily work with Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Security, and a dedicated engineering pod.
Skills Required
- Experience shipping compliance or risk products in crypto, including Travel Rule, VASP obligations, or on-chain monitoring
- Experience shipping compliance or risk products in traditional finance, including AML/KYC, PEP, or Enhanced Due Diligence
- Daily use of AI tools to accelerate product development
- Experience owning a product roadmap end to end, including resourcing, stakeholder alignment, and escalations
- Experience shipping products in multi-jurisdiction and multi-regulator environments
- Ability to identify broken controls, remediate them, and build preventative checks
- Experience in emerging markets or Islamic finance products
