Job Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
- Ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business value and regulatory compliance.
- Own and manage the product backlog with clear list of initiatives, deliverables, epics and stories
- Collaborate with Engineering Leads and Development Teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Maintain a detailed execution plan for all deliverables with lowest level of granularity tracking originally committed date, current target date, RAG status and status commentary
- Understand system architecture, data flows, and integration points across front-to-back systems.
- Participate in testing, validation, and release sign-off to ensure business requirements are met.
- Gather user feedback to identify and prioritize enhancements thus encouraging a continuous improvement culture within the product and delivery teams.
- Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, review, and retrospective participation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent as Product Owner, Product Manager or BAPM in Sell Side or Buy Side firms in Global Markets Business
- Experience in Trade Capture, Lifecycle and Risk in one or more asset classes
- Demonstrable experience in running complex F2B projects with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office
- Strong Communicator with good attention to detail
- Ability to context switch between multiple initiatives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Commodities
- Technical expertise in Python
Skills Required
