Perplexity is looking for an experienced product manager to join our small team revolutionizing the way people navigate the internet and the wider world. You will be trusted to envision the future of web agents and other novel agentic experiences, working with products from ideation to execution.
You will work closely with our Agents team and other product teams to define, shape, and ship new agentic experiences. In July 2025, Perplexity shipped Comet, the world’s first agentic browser—and we’re just getting started. Your work will be instrumental in Perplexity’s quest to actualize our users’ intent, however and wherever expressed.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and writing skills, the ability to envision innovative technology, and empathy for consumers. For this role, we are particularly seeking candidates with both enthusiasm and expertise in either agentic AI or the environments in which AI agents will operate (e.g., web/browser).
Responsibilities
- Serves as PM for a highly technical and specialized product team building the future of agents on the internet.
- Envision new experiences and deliver a long-term vision for Perplexity’s agents across different product surfaces (particularly web/browser) and across the complexity spectrum.
- Understand the levers for product-led growth and retention.
- Versatility to fulfill the most urgent unmet needs of the moment.
- Move with clarity and conviction to make difficult product decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with product management for rapidly-growing teams (founders welcome!)
- Strong (but not unshakeable) product intuitions around browsers, mobile, and other product surfaces ripe for agentic AI.
- Strong experience working with data and metrics.
- Experience with building data driven flywheels for iterative improvement.
- Thrives in a small, agile team: has initiative and desire for ownership.
- 5+ years of highly relevant technical and/or product experience.
The cash compensation range for this role is $210,000 - $280,000.
