Essential Functions:
- Conduct specialty-specific discovery research (orthopedics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or ophthalmology) including competitive landscape analysis, workflow mapping, and identification of unmet clinical and operational needs.
- Develop product strategy artifacts such as market assessments, opportunity briefs, personas, and recommendation decks to inform leadership decision-making.
- Support stakeholder interviews and client engagement activities, including preparing interview guides, capturing insights, and synthesizing findings into actionable themes.
- Analyze existing product capabilities, feature gaps, and migration pathways relevant to the assigned specialty or NexCloud-to-P+ transition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, Sales, and Client Success to validate assumptions and refine strategy recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver a capstone presentation summarizing discovery findings, strategic options, and recommended next steps to product leadership.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Product Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear recommendations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting findings to senior audiences.
- Interest in healthcare technology, product strategy, and specialty medical practice operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or coursework in product management, strategy consulting, healthcare operations, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT, practice management systems, EHR/PM platforms, or revenue cycle concepts.
- Experience conducting user research, competitive analysis, or market assessments.
- Self-directed work style with a proactive, curious approach to ambiguous problems.
Working Environment/Physical Demands
- Remote
- Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
