Reporting within the Industrial Power Generation Product & Strategy organization, the Product Management Director - Packaged Power Solutions will define and execute the product strategy for packaged gas turbine solutions supporting global power generation markets.

This role translates customer, market, and application requirements into scalable product offerings that deliver reliable, efficient, and flexible power solutions. Working across commercial, engineering, operations, service, and partner organizations, the leader will help shape the ecosystem, business models, and execution framework required to support sustainable growth and customer success across multiple regions and applications.

As a Product Management Director - Packaged Power Solutions, you will be Responsible for:

Product Strategy & Portfolio Development

  • Developing and executing the strategy for packaged power generation solutions across key applications, regions, and market segments.
  • Assessing market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and technology developments to guide portfolio priorities.
  • Partnering with commercial and engineering organizations to translate market requirements into differentiated product offerings.
  • Supporting long-term portfolio planning and growth initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Market & Ecosystem Development

  • Building and maintaining relationships with strategic industry participants across the power-generation value chain.
  • Evaluating partnership opportunities that enhance market reach, customer value, and execution capabilities.
  • Contributing to ecosystem-development strategies that support sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring market developments and emerging business models that could influence future offerings.

Commercial Strategy Support

  • Collaborating with commercial, legal, finance, and operational stakeholders to develop scalable business frameworks supporting product growth.
  • Contributing to commercial-model development, partnership structures, and offering positioning.
  • Supporting evaluation of business opportunities, investment priorities, and value-creation initiatives.
  • Helping ensure offerings remain economically competitive while meeting customer expectations and business objectives.

Lifecycle & Service Integration

  • Partnering with Service, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure product offerings support efficient installation, commissioning, operation, and lifecycle service.
  • Promoting alignment between product strategy and long-term customer support requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, serviceability, and customer experience.
  • Ensuring customer feedback informs future product and portfolio decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Leading complex initiatives involving Product Management, Engineering, Commercial, Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • Driving alignment across stakeholders to execute strategic priorities and deliver business results.
  • Facilitating decision-making in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple competing priorities.
  • Communicating strategic recommendations, opportunities, risks, and business cases to senior leadership.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Have 15 years' experience in product management, business strategy, commercial management, business development, or related leadership roles within industrial, energy, power-generation, turbomachinery, or engineered-equipment industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across matrix organizations.
  • Have strong understanding of power-generation systems, industrial equipment, or comparable complex engineered products.
  • Have experience evaluating market opportunities, customer requirements, competitive positioning, and business-model development.
  • Have strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and executive communication skills.
  • Have ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and drive outcomes through collaboration and influence.
  • Have experience working with OEMs, integrators, EPCs, technology partners, suppliers, or other industry stakeholders is preferred.
