Job Title: Advisor, Product-Led Growth (Digital Solutions)
Location: Remote (Flexible across US Time Zones)
Reports to: Manager of Digital Monetization
The Opportunity
FedEx is undergoing a massive digital transformation under CEO Raj Subramaniam. As part of the Digital Commercialization organization, we are building a brand-new Product-Led Growth function from the ground up. This isn't a "maintenance mode" role; you will be the foundational hire responsible for designing the playbook that monetizes our digital portfolio and drives adoption across a massive, proven customer base.
You will sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Data Science to turn our digital tools—including the Visibility Suite, Post-Purchase tools, and Sustainability products—into self-serve revenue engines.
The Mandate
- Build the Playbook: Establish what "PLG at FedEx" looks like operationally. You will design, test, and launch the first behavior-triggered customer journeys (contextual prompts, usage nudges, and feature adoption paths) for our digital products.
- Influence the Roadmap: Act as a strategic bridge between commercial goals and technical execution. You will build data-backed business cases to influence Product and Engineering teams to prioritize upsell and adoption surfaces.
- Drive Strategic Expansion: Identify behavioral triggers to decide exactly when to offer an upsell, cross-sell, or feature discovery moment to increase revenue per customer (with a heavy focus on the SMB segment).
- Test and Learn: Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a "startup within a titan" environment. You will run rapid experiments, measuring performance impact and feature adoption to define the long-term scaling strategy for the function.
Who You Are
- A Journey Architect: You have deep experience building customer journeys based on behavioral signals. You know exactly when to trigger a nudge to drive value without degrading the core user experience.
- Cross-Functional Diplomat: You are comfortable representing the growth function in high-visibility rooms. You can synthesize messaging from Product Marketing and pull assets from Content Marketing to create seamless in-app moments.
- Strategic Problem Solver: You can navigate the complexity of enterprise systems. You understand when to push for a self-serve path and when a human-led (Sales) bridge is necessary.
- Data-Driven: You partner closely with Analytics and Data Science to segment customers by usage and measure the direct ROI of your growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Product-Led Growth, Growth Marketing, or Product Management focused on expansion/adoption.
- Proven track record: You have successfully grown digital products without a reliance on a sales team.
- B2B/SaaS Pedigree: Experience at digitally native companies (e.g., Shopify, Spotify, or traditional B2B SaaS) is highly preferred.
- Technical Fluency: Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and how digital products are integrated into customer workflows (experience with Visibility or Supply Chain tools is a plus).
- Startup DNA: You thrive in ambiguity and are excited to build a function where no legacy process exists.
Why FedEx Digital?
- Scale: You aren't hunting for product-market fit; you are building for a "who's who" of global B2B clients and a portfolio with established demand.
- Stability + Growth: Join a public, financially healthy leader that is currently taking market share. Our AIC (Annual Incentive Comp) recently paid out at ~125%.
- Impact: Digital is a top strategic priority for the executive team. Your work will be visible to the Chief Revenue org and potentially the Chief Customer Officer.
Compensation & Benefits
- Target Base Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 (commensurate with market and experience).
- Bonus: 9% Annual Incentive Compensation (AIC).
- Model: Remote-first.
