Join Qutwo - Europe's private Quantum AI Lab, on our quest to bridge the gap between the classical and the quantum world. We partner with the most advanced and forward-thinking customers, solving fundamental real-world problems, side by side.
The best scientists and engineers in the world are drawn to one thing: a problem worthy of their ability. At Qutwo, we have one. We are a European AI lab for the quantum era, co-founded by pioneers behind IQM and Silo AI, with a team spanning MIT, UC Berkeley, Cambridge, and Carnegie Mellon, and backed by the founders of Skype, Hugging Face, Quantinuum, Supercell and many more. We work at the intersection of quantum computing, AI, optimization, and simulation — where the answers do not yet exist and the work genuinely matters.
We are seeking an exceptional Product Lead to drive the development of Qutwo OS — our hardware-agnostic orchestration platform for enterprise quantum and classical compute. If you thrive at the intersection of deep technology, enterprise customers, and focused product execution, this is for you.
Our main office is located in Helsinki.
Role DescriptionAs Product Lead you will own the Qutwo OS product end-to-end — from roadmap to customer delivery. Working closely with the CTO, Head of Research, and the Platform Architect, you will translate research innovations in quantum algorithms, hybrid computing, and quantum machine learning into a focused, production-ready platform that enterprise customers in energy, finance, and manufacturing actually want to buy.
Your job is to ensure that what the research team discovers becomes what the engineering team builds, and that what we build is what customers need. This is not a backlog-grooming role. You will make hard prioritization calls, run short iterative cycles, coordinate with forward-deployed engineering at customer sites, and be accountable for moving the platform from demo to first paying customer.
QualificationsMinimum 7 years of product management or product ownership experience, with at least 3 years in deep-tech, developer tools, or enterprise platform companies.
Demonstrated track record of shipping products to paying enterprise customers — not just features, but end-to-end product delivery including pricing, pilots, and go-to-market. You understand the path from discovery workshop to production deployment.
Strong technical literacy: you can read a system architecture diagram, understand API design trade-offs, and hold your own in a discussion about pipeline orchestration, hybrid classical-quantum workflows, or distributed systems.
Proven ability to prioritize ruthlessly in early-stage environments. You have said “no” to interesting work in order to deliver focused outcomes that matter.
Comfort working with research teams. You respect the exploratory nature of R&D but can translate research outputs into product decisions with clear timelines and measurable milestones.
Experience running short iterative development cycles (Linear or similar) with clear ownership, demo cadence, and stakeholder reporting.
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to external and internal stakeholders.
MSc or higher in a relevant field preferred. A technical background in computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering is a strong advantage.
Quantum computing concepts (qubits, gates, QAOA, VQE, noise models, error mitigation) — enough to ask the right questions, not necessarily to implement the algorithms.
Platform products: APIs, SDKs, developer experience, or infrastructure-as-a-service.
Go-to-market strategy, pricing model design, or licensing framework development for B2B enterprise software.
High-performance computing (HPC) or cloud-native platform environments.
