We're building a trading product from the ground up and looking for a Product Lead who is both an active trader and an experienced product manager.
This isn't a role where one side is a nice-to-have. You'll be making product decisions that require real market intuition — understanding how traders think, what they actually need at execution speed, what separates a tool they trust from one they abandon, who the players in the market are, such as prop firms, brokers, data providers, what a CME license is, etc. Product management skills alone won't get you there. Trading experience alone won't either.
At TradeFill in partnership with Railsware Product Studio, we build products that people love. You may know Railsware from building TradeZella, Calendly, ParentSquare, Mailtrap.io, Coupler.io, or TitanApps.io — tools that quietly serve millions of people. We bring the same craft and conviction to everything we build.
This particular role is part of a small, founder-led team building in the trading space. You'd be joining:
- Yaroslav Lazor — product & engineering (CEO and founder of Railsware, previously helped scale Calendly)
- Umar Ashraf — product, markets & distribution (founder of Tradezella, with 4M+ subscriber YouTube trading channel)
It's a tight team. Your decisions carry real weight. If that kind of ownership drives you, we'd love to hear from you!
What you’ll get?- The ability to build and launch a product from scratch, fully managing the process at a stable company with extensive experience developing successful products
- Full ownership — from idea to shipped product, you run the loop
- Product-market proximity — you'll use the product yourself as a trader
- Collaborating with top market brands in the trading world – prop firms, brokers
- True AI-first environment with a stellar engineering team — we use AI as a core part of how we plan, research, design, and build, yet in tight collaboration with true engineering talent
- Outcome-driven culture — we combine synchronous collaboration with focused asynchronous work, choosing the approach that best supports effective outcomes
- Contribute to and own the end-to-end product vision
- Communicate that vision clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Transform strategy into a prioritized product roadmap
- Prepare a billing model aligned with revenue and profitability goals
- Lead product ideation and prototyping - channeling that into discovery sessions
- Conduct customer development activities — including direct calls with traders and potential users
- Run market research and competitive analysis
- Define and scope features for development
- Lead the development process using Agile methodology
- Carry out proactive risk management and troubleshooting
- AI-driven prototypes, mockups, wireframes
- Collaborate with a product designer to implement current UI/UX best practices
- Improve product UX to drive conversion and retention
- Constantly monitor and improve product success metrics such as MRR, CAC, LTV, Churn, NPS, etc
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis of the web and product metrics using data from the product database to validate decisions
- Make data-driven decisions alongside the data analytics team

- High autonomy — you set direction, make decisions independently, and drive work forward without needing to be managed
- Strong decision-making: you move fast on imperfect information, commit, and course-correct based on data

- Data-driven: you form hypotheses, find the data, and update your views
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and spoken English

What We Do
Railsware is a product studio with two main focuses – Railsware products and consultancy services. Railsware Products: Mailtrap.io, Coupler.io, and TitanApps.io were initially created as simple in-house tools. They quickly got recognition in the community and became commercial products with a multi-million user base, steady growth, and ambitious plans. As for consultancy services, we build great web and mobile solutions focusing on clients’ essential business objectives, creating value for the end-users, and ensuring products’ steady growth. No matter what products Railsware is working on, we always stick to the three simple principles: 🔸 do what makes sense 🔸 take responsibility 🔸 improve and share your craft As a result, we can boast of many successful products that help people on various levels. Like these: 🔹Calendly - an online appointment scheduling platform that we’ve been supporting from the ideation to a $3.5 billion business. 🔹BrightBytes - a research-based decision support platform. Railsware extended the BrightBytes tech team to help build complicated parts of projects till the moment when Google acquired BrightBytes. 🔹DoctorOnlineUA - a free online platform for Ukrainians who require physical and mental health advice but don’t have access to qualified medicine. During the first six months, more than 1600 consultations have been held for free. At Railsware, we value freedom, remote and a flexible schedule, and a balanced workload. We guarantee easy-going onboarding, a clear but flexible development plan, and the ability to take responsibility for decision-making through a holacratic team structure. No wonder, an average Railswarian stays in the company for around 5 years! We invest in building a strong team choosing people who care about their work and are dedicated to their projects.
