Here at Tarro we build products that empower small brick and mortar restaurants by liberating them of the operational burden of running their business. We accomplish this by providing a frictionless connection between them and their customers through our multi-product ecosystem offering AI-enabled order taking, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and point-of-sale software. At Tarro, we use a combination of bits (technology) and atoms (people) to solve real world problems facing small business owners.
We obsess over placing our customers first and working backwards from there. When our customers succeed, we succeed. The restaurant industry in the US is over a $1 trillion total addressable market (TAM), but remains relatively underserved by technology. Large chains are able to afford expensive tech that gives them a huge advantage; we believe that small restaurant owners deserve access to the same technologies at an affordable price.
Tarro has been profitable for nearly a decade and seen 5x revenue growth in the past four years. As of our last fundraising round in mid-2022, we were valued at $450M and have since seen substantial growth across customer acquisition, product development and company headcount. Thousands of loyal restaurants have entrusted Tarro with their success, and together we have supported nearly 20 million customers. We are proud to be named one of Built In’s top companies to work for in 2023.

What we’re looking forWe’re looking for a product-minded problem solver who thrives on improving user experiences through configuration, process, and smart systems design. As a Product Implementation Specialist, you’ll be a key player in helping restaurants get started with Tarro and ensuring their menus and operations are set up for long-term success.
This is not a plug-and-play role. You’ll need to dive deep into how our tools work, understand the nuances of each restaurant’s operation, and figure out how to represent them within our product in a way that scales across voice, tech, and service. You’ll be on the front lines of implementation—but with the ownership and autonomy of someone who’s thinking 3 steps ahead.
What you’ll accomplishOwn the end-to-end configuration process for new restaurant clients, ensuring our platform reflects their menu and operations accurately, efficiently, and at scale.
Become an expert in our internal configuration tool, and translate complex restaurant menus into agent-friendly, customer-centric configurations.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Voice Platform, Product, and Customer Support to ensure implementation is seamless and optimized for quality.
Identify and fix root causes of onboarding and configuration issues, proposing systemic improvements whenever possible.
Stay on the pulse of product changes and proactively apply new features that improve menu quality and therefore restaurant operations.
Contribute to evolving our implementation processes, tools, and documentation to improve speed, quality, and repeatability.
Become fluent in the tools and systems used by both the Implementation team and frontline agents—deeply understanding the real-world implications of your work.
Take full ownership of onboarding for 5–6 new restaurants per month, from initial scoping to final QA and go-live.
Consistently resolve configuration-related tickets and escalations within SLA, maintaining high quality and low error rates.
Proactively identify at least 2 menu quality or implementation process improvements based on frontline feedback or customer outcomes.
You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and love working through messy problems to find scalable solutions.
You have a product mindset—you think about how systems scale, not just about completing tasks.
You communicate clearly and proactively across functions, and enjoy working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’re self-motivated, detail-obsessed, and care deeply about delivering great experiences to restaurants and their customers.
You have 1–2 years of experience in product implementation, onboarding, or product operations in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment.
You have exposure to restaurant technology, voice-based ordering, or POS systems.
You’ve worked in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you had to wear multiple hats.
You have experience translating real-world operations into structured, configurable systems.
You’ve used internal tools or no-code platforms to solve user-facing problems.
Strong academic performance in a quantitative or technical field is a plus.

Tarro Insights
What We Do
Tarro was born out of our personal struggles running a take-out restaurant for 10+ years. We know first-hand that small restaurant owners work far too hard to earn razor-thin margins. On top of that, enterprise software vendors offer technology solutions that don’t always work for small restaurants. At Tarro, we use a combination of bits (technology) and atoms (real people) to solve real-world problems facing restaurants. Today, we’ve helped more than 1,800 restaurant owners increase profits and secure a better future for their families. As we’ve grown, our founding principle has never changed: we aim to help independent restaurant owners realize their dreams. Tarro has achieved significant growth over the past two years, growing annual re-occurring revenue by almost 4x to $46 million and quadrupling our customer base of mom-and-pop restaurants.
