What you will be doing

  • Acts as a servant leader and aids with the resolution of blocking impediments. 
  • Fosters team collaboration and self-organization. 
  • Identifies differences in understanding issues as they occur; works with the team to problem-solve or escalate to management if needed. 
  • Facilitates Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Refinement, Retrospectives, and other related team and cross-team meetings. Assists in facilitating Sprint Demos. Participates in Scrum of Scrums. 
  • Utilizes tools and reports, such as JIRA and Confluence, to collect, develop and analyze Agile data and metrics, managing progress daily. Maintains information radiators and tracks metrics for the teams, including velocity and burndown charts to drive team improvement. 
  • Work with Product, UX and Engineering in driving stories and designs to a ready state in preparation for salesforce 
  • Ensures that the team has a clear and common understanding of the work that needs to be done, and that the work items reflect this understanding.
  • Drive the Salesforce scrum team and mentor members on Agile and Scrum principles, values, and practices, driving towards a goal of a continuous improvement mindset 
  • Recommend adjustments to established delivery practices. 

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum of 5+ years applicable related experience managing scrum teams
  • Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, and/or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification 
  • Technical background with exposure to Salesforce 
  • Experience as a Scrum Master within a software development environment 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; residing in the United States

Nice to have

  • Active Salesforce Admin Certification, Salesforce Service Cloud Certification or Sales Cloud Certification 
  • Health Care Industry and/or CMS experience 
  • Experience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.) 
  • Well versed in a variety of Agile approaches (SAFe, Scrum/LeSS, Kanban) 
  • Some knowledge of development environments, platforms, and technologies including Salesforce, Java, general web development and cloud technology 
  • Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences 
  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority 
  • Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment 

Compensation range: $93,500- $128,000
