Product Engineer
This is a role that blends creativity and execution: you imagine how in-store retail could feel, build it with AI, and get it in front of shoppers. You rapidly iterate, observing shoppers as you test prototyped features, looking at how they respond, then deciding if the feature makes the cut. Successful features are handed to engineering to review, refine and commit to the live product, all at pace.

What You'll Do
Own a problem end to end, from a fuzzy idea to a proven feature
Turn hypotheses about how retail could work into prototypes fast
Get your work in front of real shoppers and learn from how they react
Hand engineering a validated feature so they can build the durable version
About You
The person who thrives in this role will blend an instinct for what shoppers desire with the agentic coding skill to build their ideas fast. We are a startup and that inevitably means a high-intensity environment. We're looking for capability, drive and a desire to make a meaningful difference. The right person will always have been a bit obsessive about the things they care about.
This role sits under our Head of B2C Product. It's a great fit for someone who wants to bridge coding and product: a product role at heart, but built for an exceptional coder who wants to be close to customers and help solve real problems.
Office Is Our Default
We get our energy from being together, and this is primarily an office based role. It will suit someone who loves the quick conversations and the connection of building something together in a fast paced environment. We're on what we think is the best garden square in London, a couple of minutes from Tottenham Court Road, so it's an easy place to get to and a good place to be.

Skills Required
- Strong coding ability to build rapid prototypes (agentic coding skill)
- Product instincts for retail and shopper behavior
- Experience owning problems end-to-end from idea to validated feature
- Comfort testing prototypes with real customers and iterating based on observations
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity startup environment
- Primarily office-based in London (on-site preferred)
