Portal Innovations is a life sciences venture platform building tools to surface high-potential science and researchers. We’re hiring a part-time Product Engineer (20 hrs/week, Chicago only) to help extend Stargaze, our AI-driven innovation discovery toolkit.
Tech stack: Python, Postgres, React, AWS, Modal, Airflow
Role: Backend + front-end development, new feature buildout, infrastructure support
You: Comfortable across the stack, pragmatic, collaborative, and excited about building in a fast-moving, impact-driven environment.
Bonus: Role could transition to full-time.
