The Role
Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Work in the New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering team which drives Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment
- Work closely with Advantest contract manufacturers and Advantest development, supply chain and product marketing teams in a very international environment to enable new workstation and software products
- Develop software tools and scripts supporting the manufacturing flow and automation of the entire production portfolio in our supply chain
- Accountable for ensuring tools and software for production processes are maintained and engineering changes from product generation locations are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Develop and implement strategies to support production environment automation and data management.
- Bachelor/Master's degree in IT with good background in software engineering and HW architecture
- Experience in scripting languages (Python, Shell)
- Linux knowledge and background in server support
- Analytical skills in failure identification and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and strong organization and management skills
- Fluency in english and desired german lamguage skills
