- Coaches and mentors the STEP Product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives.
- Partners across line of defense to identify, validate, and scale reusable testing solutions and components, driving efficiency and scale.
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria are well-defined, testable, and aligned to outcomes (and evolving approach as the firm evolves the software development lifecycle).
- Establish and track success metrics (e.g., tester productivity, cycle time, coverage, control outcomes, reliability, risk posture, and cost) and use data to guide prioritization and investment decisions.
- Act as the voice of the customer, partnering with stakeholders to evolve operational policies, process flows, procedures, tooling, and user communications where required to enable adoption.
- Evaluate “build vs. partner vs. defer” decisions for emerging AI/ agentic capabilities and balancing speed, scalability, and risk.
