We are bringing more great products to market everyday and are looking for a Project Development Specialist to own and manage the manufacturing calendar and deliverables from concept to market execution. This role is based in our New Orleans headquarters and involves close collaboration with our international factory partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a T&A calendar with results and KPI-driven focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Re-engineer our end-to-end go-to-market calendar and management tools to improve visibility and adherence to timeline.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with our factory partners in Asia.
- Attend frequent project management meetings, tracking and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders to keep fashion drops on time, with in-full delivery.
- Support product design priorities with weekly product development priorities.
- Report on weekly/monthly/annual performance and scorecarding for leadership.
- Proactively drive milestone deliveries by escalating at-risk deliverables with key stakeholders
- Assess missed milestones for critical path impact and escalate as necessary to ensure overall projects remain on track
- Coordinate and track product sample orders with the 3rd Party Design Team Leader, advise delays and impact to the T&A dates by department.
- Report and analyze timeline against internal KREWE and external vendor KPIs. Deliver insights to VP of Product, Development and Production Leads with recommended processes to yield speed, efficiency, and reliability.
- Review and analyze the weekly factory WIP reports with a focus on the status of development production (sample and production). Identify shipment delays and update the PD Team accordingly.
Requirements:
- This position is based in our New Orleans headquarters.
- A minimum of 2 years of managing a T&A for an accessories or hard goods manufacturing operation.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant project management experience, managing multiple simultaneous projects with complex deliverable schedules.
- Experience working with international manufacturing partners is a plus but not required.
- Experience in roles involving international coordination
- Proven track record of being results and KPI-driven
- Ability to assimilate large amounts of information and identify patterns and risks/trends
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Experience in Project Management Tools (smartsheet, Monday.com, etc), Netsuite, and/or Microsoft Excel.
