Ensure effective control of product development and modification processes. Responsible for planning, verifying, confirming, maintaining, and promoting new product processes, improve product development quality and reduce development costs. Assist with reviewing commercial quotation materials and lists.  III. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers. Ability to speak, read and/or write Mandarin is a plus.Experience1 or more years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.EducationBachelor's Degree and above, major in mechanical engineering or related STEM degree.Physical ConditionAble to travel. Able to work in a manufacturing environment.Other RequirementsExperienced with manufacturing processes. Knowledge of automotive glass production a plus.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities utilized on the jobProfessional Knowledge, SkillsProficient in office software such as WORD, EXCEL, Power Point, & OutlookProficient in three-dimensional software UG, CATIA, and AutoCAD.Experience in APQP documents such as [failure mode (FMEA), BOM, process flow diagram, DVP&R, etc.]Experience in project development is preferred.Training Required3 to 6 months at start may be spent in production environment for training purposes.Shadow current PE with his program to gain experienceV. Work Environment:
 Bright, clean and well-ventilated office building.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses and steel-toed work boots.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or a related STEM discipline
  • Ability to read and understand English documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, engineers, leadership, and customers
  • At least one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience with manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with UG, CATIA, and AutoCAD three-dimensional software
  • Experience preparing APQP documents, including FMEA, BOM, process flow diagrams, and DVP&R
  • Ability to travel and work in a manufacturing environment
  • Mandarin reading, writing, or speaking ability
  • Knowledge of automotive glass production
  • Experience in project development
