Summary: A highly organized and trend-savvy coordinator who plays a key support role in the end-to-end development of color products, helping the team bring innovative, high-impact launches to life.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep the team updated on social trends, especially trends that are relevant in color cosmetics.
- Research makeup trends and translate them into compelling beauty concepts.
- Create aesthetic product mood boards aligned with current projects or to inspire new product ideas and concepts.
- Assist in the ideation and development of new cosmetic products.
- Conduct competitive research on product launches and maintain tracking.
- Prepare product briefs and organize supplier samples for review.
- Reception & organization of supplier samples to be presented to Manager
- Doing competitive research on product launches & keeping track of them
- Assist manager in the evaluation of textures & colors to be presented to wider team & Huda.
- Assist manager with communication with internal & external stakeholders.
- Support manager in cross-departments meeting to keep project aligned.
- Become the project lead product development for shade extensions under manager guidance and assistance.
- Maintain color and kits tracker.
- Assist in meeting preparation, including agendas and action item follow-up.
Requirements
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Must have strong attention to details.
- Be a make-up lover!
- Must be tech savy and be able to create nice presenation slides.
- Experience communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Cosmetics experience is a must: Brand, Supplier, In store, MUA or relevant degree.
- Passion for and knowledge of the beauty industry – brands, products, bloggers, and influencers.
- Inherent understanding of make-up and beauty products.
