About the Role
iCapital is looking for a talented private markets Product Development and Structuring/Project Management professional to support its continued global expansion. iCapital’s rapid growth in the European and Asian marketplaces creates an opportunity for a junior product and project management professional to join a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
The Product Development and Structuring department is a fast-growing team focused on opportunities across markets outside the US. You will be responsible for helping to develop iCapital’s global offering and supporting the product launches and lifecycles of private market alternative investment funds. These will be both funds created to invest into or alongside specified funds of 3rd-party alternative asset managers – so called ‘feeder’ or ‘conduit’ funds – and ‘direct investing’ funds across the entire range of private market asset strategies. Specifically, and due to business demand, we are seeking to increase our capacity to deliver our various offerings to the evergreen funds of our asset manager clients.
The successful candidate will be based in Lisbon, reporting to a member of the International Product Development and Structuring team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects related to onboarding new products onto iCapital´s Global Marketplace and similar platforms by coordinating with the client and internal teams such as Implementation Specialists, International Legal, and Asset Manager Solutions, while overseeing timelines and ensuring successful completion.
- Work with a team of product development colleagues who are responsible for new product development, product structuring, and fund lifecycle management. This team stands at the heart of iCapital’s growth into new markets and fund structures.
- Schedule regular calls with relevant teams.
- Develop, circulate, and track agendas.
- Track mandate progress through to conclusion.
- ‘Administration’ of mandate delivery: distribution of relevant materials, collation of information, coordination of relevant internal and external parties
- Project management support for other fund related product launches
- Oversee the preparation of marketing materials and coordinate pitch deck creation (directs and feeders), ensuring compliance sign-off and timely uploads to the iCapital platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Client Success and external providers, to facilitate reporting services and production of PRIIPs KIDs.
- Assist in fund cost modelling during the pitching phase and manage the International Product Pitch Slide Library.
- Ensure correct and timely registrations of products across relevant fund jurisdictions and markets, coordinating with internal legal team
Development

Qualifications
- Solid academic background Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, such as working in a product role in an alternatives manager, asset manager or wealth manager
- Experience in private markets and other alternative funds
- Understanding of the lifecycle and operational processes of alternative investments
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise assignments
- Positive attitude, proactive and a desire to work in a friendly, fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills – proficiency in English required, other languages a plus
- Strong analytical and communications skills.
