What’s the role about?
As our Menswear Product Developer you will manage sample management and product management of our Footwear & Accessories category, taking ownership of the critical path of the production process. While reporting into our Head of Menswear Production & Sourcing, based in Picton Place, London.

Who you are

  • Team player and be able to work independently
  • Experience in buying is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • A great understanding of the critical path
  • Organised and able to priorities workload
  • Understanding of supply management, sample development and cost management
  • Previous experience within retail head office

What you’ll be doing

  • Liaise with Product Manager on factory plan for the coming season
  • Plan factory prototype sample requirements
  • Ensure costings and fabric ratings have been received from the supplier and negotiated where necessary
  • Confirm production ex-factory dates with suppliers
  • Add costs to buy sheets for sign off
  • Negotiate factory cost prices for approval
  • Review/update critical path on a daily basis
  • Work with the Design team and factories on timely lab dip submissions/approvals
  • Liaise with fabric and trim departments on ex-mill dates and trim available dates
  • Attend fit meetings to ensure problems are highlighted and communicated to suppliers
  • Liaise with Merchandising and Design teams to ensure all departments have the same information
