Most of what matters now lives in social video, but it’s buried in volume. Plot exists to surface what actually matters.

We analyze millions of social videos to help teams answer questions like:

• Why do people love (or avoid) this product?

• What patterns are forming across how people use it, talk about it, and feel about it?

• Who are the fans consistently showing up without being asked?

Plot watches the feed for you pulling signal from speech, visuals, on-screen text, and comments and turning it into insight you can explore, ask questions about, and act on.

It’s part social listening, part research tool, part creative workspace rebuilt for a video-first world.

In less than a year since launch, Plot is already trusted by leading enterprise brands including Lululemon, Benefit Cosmetics, Anthropologie, CAVA, Visa, and more. We’re now entering our next phase of growth raising the bar on quality, cohesion, and craft as enterprise adoption accelerates.

Our team brings experience from places like Uber, Dropbox, Microsoft, and Apple, alongside deep startup experience building 0→1 products.

Design is core to how Plot works.

We started scrappy. Early prototypes were built in days, shipped in weeks, and helped us land our first enterprise customers. That speed got us here. Now we’re entering a new phase — one where we get to take what we’ve built and make it exceptional.

This is an opportunity to work on a product with real traction and real complexity, and to help define how it evolves. You’ll have meaningful ownership, a strong voice in product decisions, and the space to think holistically while sweating the details.

As a designer at Plot, you’ll get to:

• Help raise the bar on quality while keeping the momentum that made Plot successful

• Shape a product that adapts to different roles, use cases, and ways of working

• Design AI-first workflows that feel obvious, useful, and trustworthy

You’ll help shape the product as well as the design culture at Plot, including:

• Designing core product experiences from early concepts to shipped features

• Defining and evolving Plot’s design patterns, systems, and practices

• Raising the bar for visual craft, interaction quality, and polish

• Partnering closely with engineers to ship thoughtful, high-quality work

• Talking directly to customers – joining calls, observing workflows, and translating needs into product decisions

• Prototyping quickly to explore ideas, test assumptions, and make things real

• Occasionally helping tell the story through decks, docs, or visuals

This role is for a designer who is:

A tinkerer at heart. You build things. You prototype ideas instead of just talking about them. You have side projects, experiments, half-finished tools and you learn by doing.

Fluent with AI tools and workflows. You actively use AI tools in your day-to-day work and you’re excited to design AI-first experiences that feel human and intentional.

Strong in craft and taste. We’re building for creatives. Visual quality, interaction design, and polish matter deeply. You have a point of view and the judgment to know when to push and when to simplify.

A systems thinker. You think in patterns, not one-off screens. You care about cohesion, consistency, and how things scale over time.

Comfortable with ambiguity and speed. You don’t need perfect requirements to start. You can navigate unclear problems, make decisions with incomplete information, and iterate as you learn.

Product-minded. You care about outcomes, not just outputs. You think about user goals, business context, and long-term impact.
