You’ll join at a moment when our brand and product experience are accelerating, and build high-leverage features that define how security teams use Scanner.
What you’ll own
- Product experience design: You’ll design the core surfaces of Scanner, from feature workflows to UI systems, crafting an intuitive, beautiful product that engineers and analysts love to use.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional design experience: spanning product, brand, and marketing.
- Excellent collaborator with a startup mindset: you’ll work closely with founders, design, front and backend engineering, and product. You thrive under ambiguity, love to ship fast, and enjoy wearing different hats.
- Craft and systems thinking: you drive visual and interactive polish for every detail while designing scalable systems that bring consistency across the product.
- Bonus: experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or the security/observability domain.

Problem: SIEMs are too expensive to ingest everything, so teams route the bulk of their logs to object storage, like Amazon S3. The problem is that data lakes on S3 are too slow and too clunky to use for detection and response. Scanner solves this: we index logs directly in S3, making petabytes searchable in seconds. No pipelines, no re-ingestion, no schema work. Scanner is the data layer for the era of agents.
