We're building the AI-native ERP that will define private markets infrastructure. This isn't an AI wrapper slapped onto legacy software - we built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms. As the system of record, we've earned the trust to bundle fund administration with tools that were previously fragmented: investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, KPI collection, and more.
With AI, context is king. And Hanover Park has all the context on our customers.
In under a year, we've scaled to over $15 billion in assets under administration, serving investment firms and LPs that include top-5 banks and major endowments. We're backed by Emergence Capital (first investor in Salesforce and Zoom), Susa Ventures (first investor in Robinhood and Flexport), and Lux Capital.
Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments.
About the roleFinance software is notoriously ugly. Dense tables, clunky workflows, zero delight. We think that's a design problem - and a real opportunity.
You'll join our product design team to shape how fund CFOs, operations leads, and LPs interact with their most critical workflows. That means owning craft end-to-end: the visual language, the system, the research, and the pixels. You'll work directly with founders and engineers - not through a PM layer.
The domain is complex. Waterfall models, fund accounting, LP reporting - none of it is simple to design for. But you'll have direct access to real users who will tell you exactly what's broken about every tool they've ever used. That's rare.
What you'll work onMajor product surfaces - The surfaces that matter most; how LPs engage, how funds come to life, how data tells a story - and everything we build from here
Our design system - extending and hardening the patterns that scale across a complex platform
User research directly with fund CFOs, ops leads, and LPs - synthesizing what you learn into product decisions
Implementation-ready specs that engineers can build from without a back-and-forth
The long-term visual language of Hanover Park
Need:
A portfolio that shows how you think through complex, data-heavy interfaces - not just how they look
Strong visual craft - you sweat the details, ship pixel-perfect work, and have a point of view on what good looks like
Experience building or evolving a design system in a fast-moving product
Comfort going deep with users - running research, not just reading someone else's findings
Figma fluency and a track record of handing off specs engineers love
Nice to have:
Fintech, accounting software, or enterprise SaaS background
Experience designing at a seed-to-Series B startup
This isn't the right fit if:
You need heavy PM direction before you can get started
You treat design as primarily a visual discipline - our product is functionally complex and design has to serve that
You haven't worked closely with engineers before
Private markets are a $100 trillion asset class running on outdated software. We're fixing that. The work is hard, the velocity is high, and what you ship will be used by some of the most sophisticated investors in the world.
If that sounds like your kind of problem, let's talk.

Hanover Park Insights
What We Do
Hanover Park is the first AI-native fund administration company - built from the ground up to modernize an industry that manages over $100 trillion in assets and has been underserved by technology for decades. Fund administration is the operational backbone of private markets. It's how funds track capital, calculate returns, manage investor reporting, handle distributions, and stay compliant. For years, this work has been done on legacy systems, manual spreadsheets, and outdated software that wasn't built for the complexity or scale of modern private markets. The result: slow turnaround times, high error rates, and ballooning headcount just to keep up. Hanover Park changes that. We built our platform with AI at the core - not as a feature bolted on after the fact, but as the foundation everything runs on. That means faster processing, fewer errors, and a fundamentally better experience for the funds and investors we serve. We currently administer $15B+ in assets and are scaling rapidly. Our team sits at the intersection of finance and technology - fund accountants, engineers, and operators who understand both the complexity of private markets and what it takes to build world-class software. We move fast, hold a high bar, and care deeply about getting it right. We're Series A, backed by Emergence Capital, Lux Capital, and Susa Ventures - investors who back category-defining companies at the earliest stages. Emergence's thesis is vertical AI, and they've seen this movie before: they were early in Veeva when it was a small team with a big idea about what software could do for a single industry. Veeva became a $40B company. We think fund administration is the next industry ripe for that kind of transformation. The people joining Hanover Park now aren't walking into a finished product. They're walking into the moment when everything gets built — the platform, the team, the culture, the category. If you want to do the most important work of your career in a market that actually matters, this is where you do it.
